Great value and this worked on my kids fire tablet. Setting up was easy, the hardest thing is taking it out of the package. This memory card isnt just for Nintendo Switch. I'm grateful that other reviewers noted that.
I got the card to be used in a dash camera. It’s easy to install, and it holds a lot of footage in the storage capacity.
I have been using this on a 40$ phone to download large games then transfer them to my gaming rig so it doesn't have to do the leg work, transfer speeds are good and it does everything I want, great deal for the price
I guess the real question would be: why is this so inexpensive? Oh, you mean because it is for a Nintendo Switch? OK let's not tell anyone that it works just great for basic storage. I wouldn't use this in a top of the line Sony digital camera. The read/write is too slow. But it is just fine for storing epubs, email, memes, some photos etc on a tablet or a phone.
I actually ordered this thinking it was a regular sd card for my security camera. even tho it was for a switch it still worked
The sd card performs as expected. Video transfers at advertised speeds. I bought two to use in daily rotation for repeated handling and heavy use. Both are working fine. The value at the sale price was fair for the gamble on the generic product.
Since the prices of cards are insanity now. I opted for this one for my epub books for smaller devices since I don't need much storage for now and I can upgrade later once the ai bubble bursts. I won't know about game storage but it didn't take long for my few gb of my library to load onto this.
I grabbed the onn 128 GB microSDXC U3 card primarily because of the price, but I want to be clear - just because the packaging says Nintendo Switch doesn't mean that's all this card is good for. I'm using mine in my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and it has been handling 4K video recording without a single dropped frame or write error. The U3 rating is the key thing to pay attention to here. That means it meets the sustained write speed requirements for high-definition video recording, which is exactly what you need for action cameras, drones, and yes, your Switch too. 128 GB gives me enough runway for long shooting sessions before I have to offload footage, which I really appreciate when I'm out and don't have my laptop nearby. Installation was as simple as it gets - slide it in, format it in your device, and you're recording. The card also comes with a full-size SD adapter in the case, which makes transferring files to a laptop quick and easy without needing a separate card reader dongle. For the price point Walmart has this at, it's genuinely hard to justify spending two or three times more on a name brand card for everyday use. If you need a reliable, high-speed microSD card for gaming, video recording, or just extra storage on any compatible device, this onn card punches well above its price tag. Highly recommended.
I bought this to use in my camera for shooting 4K video, and it works flawlessly! I was a bit skeptical at first because it is such a great value for a 128GB card, but the storage capacity is exactly what I needed. The install into my camera was seamless, and the card's physical sturdiness gives me peace of mind when swapping it out. I haven't experienced any lagging or dropped frames at all, and transferring files while charging my devices is incredibly fast. Highly recommend if you want reliable performance without breaking the bank!
I bought this for my new security cameras since they utilize utilize micro storage %26 I didn't want to pay for cloud storage right away. After looking around I came across these and they're about half the price as other options. These work flawlessly in my cameras. I'd highly recommend these microSD cards if you're in the market for some.
