Picked this up in store. Great speaker for the price. It is a stereo speaker (no subwoofer) that delivers 10x the sound quality of my new Samsung QLED Smart TV's speakers. It fits perfectly under the front of the TV and at only 16" it is not an eyesore like those 30" long monster. Bluetooth and Optical Cable sound works great. Easy to move from TV to TV, too.
I was amazed about the power of this little bar. Good base good sound..overall a very very good product! Connects right away, has little remote with volume and other functions. I'm impressed! I will recommend it!
I bought this little guy to put in my rv, mainly because it is small. I am so surprised and pleased with how it sounds! Rv had to go to be serviced, so I took it out and put it in my bedroom...now I'm going to have to buy another one for the rv, can't let this one leave the bedroom, now. It is small enough to set on a nightstand, and not be in the way. It makes my nightly computer surfing so much more pleasant. Not a lot of money, not a lot of space required, but really warm, pleasant sound. I recommend it!
Needed a small soundbar for the TV in the guest room, nothing pricey but an improvement over the standard TV speakers. After some research, this appeared to fit the bill. Pros: Small, surprisingly good sound for the price point, easy setup, easy operation, dual connection options (RCA
The box says it is 16 inches long 2channel Bluetooth. My tv isn't blue tooth capable so I just connect with the provided mini cable . You can also use a digital light cable if you have one. This makes the human voice sound great which is what this 42inch Sanyo TV lacked for sure. Now I can hear human voices on movies at ease without the loud background side effects interfering with hearing the voices. Deducting one star for the tiny remote sluggish to respond and may need a new battery , and you have to have a magnifying glass to read product insert.
Sounds good when used with the optical input (cable not included), fits nicely with a smaller tv, works with it's own remote control. Unable to find remote control codes to be able to adjust volume with universal remote control, (or Xfinity X1). There is no support from Wal-Mart on this product, nor from who I believe manufactures this product (Curtis International). If you're OK with using two remotes, one to change channels and one to change the volume, it's nice.
They should of made the shut off timer a bit longer. If you pause a show to get a snack, answer door, etc. you'll more than likely hear the dreaded sound of the bar turning off. This normally wouldn't be a problem as hitting power on the remote isn't too tiring unless you happen to be super lazy, although the REMOTE IS JUNK. Whoever approved the go ahead at ONN® for this tiny pos should of tried it out. The buttons are plastic, which of course most are but the problem is they've no rubber, or spring reenforcement so it simply cracks and becomes useless. Finding an alternate remote, or even a code to use a universal is mind boggling impossible, but I did figure out an alternative to this. If your remote shattered as did mine use a cable that connects to the small hole in the back of the sound bar and splits into the Red and Yellow Cables to connect to the audio out on your television, allowing use of your TV remote for the volume. The cable is SF Cable, 12 ft 3.5mm Stereo Male to Two RCA Male Splitter Cable and costs around $2.50. I'm still trying every method I've found on the internet to stop the auto shut off but none have worked for me.
Waste of time tv speakers are louder than this onn soundbar do not buy this you will return it like i did
bought this for my sanyo television,no sound at all. I see by some of the reviews that you need to buy a optic cable. it should come with everything you need. No thanks. I would've paid a little more for something that works out of the box. Won't buy anything from Wal-Mart without checking the reviews first from now on.
We bought this as a speaker for an Echo Dot, using the auxiliary port. It turns off after 15 minutes of inactivity, so it was useless. We haven't had any issues with other speakers. This would not be a good choice for any use case where you don't want to turn the speaker on and cycle through options between use.
