onn. has become one of my favorite brands when it comes to electronics. This soundbar is very sleek at 32"x2.5"x2.5" (LxWxH). Don't let its unassuming size fool you because it packs a powerful punch with crisp audio and awesome bass. Connecting it to the TV was quick and simple since there were only 3 cables (power cable, 3.5mm AUX cable, and optical cable). It was also easy to pair it to my iPhone using the bluetooth connection. The sound quality is awesome. I didn't even reach the max volume and it was loud and crisp with a bass that shook the wall decorations. I had a Samsung soundbar (I can't remember which model, but I spent almost $300 on it) and this onn. soundbar is so much better in my opinion. The soundbar is also lightweight, so I'm able to move it from the playroom to the backyard for pool days without any hassle. I'm really impressed with this onn. soundbar that I'm planning to get another one for my other TV.
This is an awesome soundbar! I have not mounted it to the wall yet but it looks simple enough. I like the different modes you can use (music, movie and talk) it is simple to switch back and forth from the different modes as they each have a button on the remote. Connecting to the soundbar via Bluetooth is very simple to do. The sound quality is awesome! This soundbar can be LOUD and still sounds awesome! Definitely would recommend to friends or family.
This sound bar is nice and slim. Its super easy to setup and comes with everything you need. This thing puts out some sound. Really makes movies sound like you are in the theater. As a person with kids, I really like it has control buttons on the actual speaker just in case we lose the remote lol. Perfect addition to our tv.
The sound on my TV is horrible. I have been wanting to get something to help and this sound bar is perfect! Not only is it a perfect fit on my entertainment center LOL but the sound is so perfect. Just for fun we tried turning it all the way up but its just too loud! Its so nice to be able to actually hear my TV now! The controls on both the remote and the sound bar itself work very smoothly. I love that it tells you what setting you are on outlook so there's no second guessing it. The only downside has nothing to do with the soundbad...the optical cable doesn't fit right in my tv but I found a fix
This soundbar is a great addition to our living room. We always complained that our tv wasn't loud enough and the soundbar not only makes it loud enough, but has improved the sound quality in addition to making it louder. At first it sounded like it was more of an echo, but after a quick google search I found out you're supposed to turn your tv volume all the way down or off while using the soundbar. As soon as I did that it has been great ever since. I love how it has the options of movie, music and talk modes because they make a world of difference. It was easy to set up using the included optical cord and doesn't take up any extra space at all. I like the versatility and the abilities to connect Bluetooth devices or you could use the included aux cord. Overall I'm very happy with it and don't have any complaints.
This was pretty easy to install. I do suggest reading the instructions first. I found out that I did need to plug in the optical cord for my TV. I also had to go do one of the special instructions to get it to work with my TV but once I found the step in my TV menu it worked great. My TV is over 10 years old and it worked with it. The Bluetooth was the easiest to use. The buttons for music, movie and talk I am not hearing much of a difference but I could be using it wrong I guess. I love getting it to play music when I want sound around me but no TV on. I received this product to try for free from Walmart Spark reviewer program in exchange for an honest review. The opinions in this review are 100% my own.
I received this product for free in exchange for a honest review. First off, this soundbar comes with everything you need for setup. It comes with a 4 ft power cord, remote WITH 2 AAA batteries (I always appreciate that), a 6 ft optical cable, a 6 ft AUX cable, and wall anchors and screws for optional mounting. My first impression of the soundbar was wow, it's sleek. Very nice design. It's simple but elegant. There are buttons on the top right hand side of the soundbar (On, Input, Up Volume, Down Volume), which is nice in case you can't find the remote. You can choose whether to use an optical or AUX cable (of course, optical is better). There are two holes for wall mounting on the back as well. Unfortunately, because the holes are set 26 5/16" apart, you won't be able to mount it onto studs, which I think was an overlooked design flaw. But on the other hand, it doesn't weigh too much (5 lbs, give or take). I also really like the design of the remote. It's sleek as well. It feels nice and comfortable in my hand. There aren't too many buttons. It's easy to understand. There is a button to initiate Bluetooth connectivity which is nice and easy to use. There are also 3 different function buttons for Talk, Movie, and Music. I assume it changes the bass and tremble of the soundbar. I tested this onn soundbar against my Vizio soundbar, with the same TV, same video, and same optical cable. The sound was similar, but I would say my Vizio soundbar was slightly better. The onn soundbar had a "hollow" sound. It's hard to explain. But it's not bad. I was able to connect my phone to the soundbar easily and play music. It's no Bose but the music sounded fine. I think the biggest plus about this soundbar is that it comes with everything you need. It's always annoying when you buy a new "toy", and you have to wait another 2-day for Amazon to deliver the necessary equipment you have to order just to use it. OR even worse, running to the store to buy batteries! (I kid.)
A good, inexpensive soundbar the ONN 32" 2.0 is for those looking for an inexpensive audio option. It connects via optical, 3.5 mm AUX or Bluetooth. I have both the 3.5 mm AUX and optical cables hooked up to my SONY 50" 4K Smart TV and it really improves the sound quality over the TV speakers. I use mostly the 3.5 mm AUX connection because it allows me to use my remote's volume controls. Using optical you have to use the ONN remote but does offer a bit better sound. Overall for under $50 you get a good soundbar for your money.
I'm going to love this soundbar! I really enjoy blasting music on it. It was easy to connect by bluetooth to my iPhone, and I appreciate that my phone can control the volume and play/pause. It has 3 modes- music, movie and talk. These seem to be the only adjustments for the soundbar, but at least music sounds good on music mode. I also hooked it up to my TV- I used bluetooth and optical. For optical, I did have to switch the TV output to PCM, as suggested in the soundbar paperwork. I didn't find much improvement in the TV sound through the soundbar versus the TV speakers, but if you need a sound boost this soundbar may be nice for you. I found it awfully annoying that the soundbar announces whenever I turn it on or off or change connection type! FYI, a Fire TV stick cannot control this soundbar. It was packaged securely enough that it shipped safely to my house. It comes with AUX and optical cables, batteries for the remote. and mounting template.
I was truly looking forward to reviewing this (4 speaker) 32" soundbar. It arrived this morning and I immediately opened it and read the "quick start" instructions. The instructions seemed fairly easy to understand, and I readily hooked up the soundbar to my laptop so I could play some music. No sound, whatsoever.....What could be the problem? I pulled the connection out of my laptop and I could hear the music coming from my laptop. Curiously, the remote that came with the soundbar works well and I could hear the "voice" from the soundbar state the actions that I performed with the remote (such as, "volume up", but still, no music from my laptop ever came over the soundbar. On a plus side, the manufacturer did include wall anchors and screws for hanging the soundbar.
