Let's keep it real, basically a USB port is a USB port. This one has a slight difference. While it doesn't have bling glued all over, it does have a ring of light built in. It illuminates whenever it's plugged into a vehicle's lighter socket correctly. This way you can tell, even in the dark, that the electronic device plugged into it is getting a proper charge. It's small, simple to use and easy to see at night. Don't hold me to this, but I believe it charges things a bit more quickly than others I've used.

I had ordered a USB C plug, but it was not available so this one was offered as a replacement. I selected yes, but then had to not accept it at pick up because it was a USB A plug. I'm glad I caught it before I got home and then had to return to get the type of plug I really needed.
