Great TV for the money, surprisingly sturdy
Like everything about this TV. Don’t be fooled by the price it has great 1080p picture quality, good sound, 2 HDMI connections, easy to setup, connect to internet and cable box, has sleep timer which is a plus in the bedroom, easy to operate remote control layout and it all comes with a factory 2 year warranty when you register it online. Did not expect much for the cheap money paid, but it’s surprisingly sturdy and looks well built, time will tell.

The actual hardware of this TV is fine, except for the tiny remote. The issue is the software. It forces you to download an app on your phone and won't let you move on in the setup process of installing apps until you accept their data sharing policy. From what it looks like, they are going to share all your data with their "partners". There is no option to opt out. I disconnected it from wifi and definitely won't be buying a vizo associated TV in the future.

Bring Your Own Screws!
Bring Your Own Screws! The four screws provided to attach the feet to the TV do NOT fit ... you can't screw them in far enough. We had to swap out the screws to attach the feet properly. I cannot yet rate the quality of the television itself. After the lengthy process to attach the feet, it was discovered that the TV screen was bent and cracked; it was returned for a replacement.

After purchasing the TV and updating it, the TV kicks me out of what I'm doing and the screen goes black. After that happens it will go to the power on screen and then back to the main menu with no warning. Literally a brand new TV and having issues within 45 days of purchase.

“Smart Tv” Features locked behind tracking
I was initially satisfied with the deal and purchase of this TV. But in order to use it as a “Smart Tv” you have to enable data tracking. I thought it was just a tactic to get me to accept the data tracking. However, after i declined tracking and finished setting it up it went into “HDMI only” mode. So it wasn’t a bluff, you really have to accept data tracking to unlock the smart tv features. I gave in and had to accept the tracking and the tv works as it should being a smart tv.

VIZIO SCAMMERS
SCAM I tried setting up this TV following the prompts. After having my email rejected several times I called the number provided for the setup. I was told by a representative that the TV wouldn’t work unless I paid to have it setup for basic at a cost of $59. I challenged his statement and he continued with his lies. Eventually a different code popped up on my TV which allowed me to set it up for use. CONSUMERS should be made aware of these tactics.

The screws cannot fully tighten no matter what I do. The stands still shift and move. Looking at the stands to tv connection it makes sense that they wouldn’t properly screw right. What a horrible flaw to have on a good tv with a great deal. I can’t get the stands on. Either that or they were packaged with the wrong screws or something went wrong with making this

Beware of setup.
This tv requires a Vizio app on a device to set up. You cannot go past first set-up page without this step. There is a disclaimer after July 2025 stating this cannot be bypassed. If you are not tech savvy or an older adult that has limited technology to install an app on a device then pass this up! Save yourself a return.

Terrible OS system! Tv reset itself when it wants to. Is not compatible with several .MAJOR apps like Tablo. And using with a Fire Stick is iffy at best . Works sometimes and then sometimes not so I had to keep rebooting to get to work together. Took back immediately! And for those who may care…..you CANNOT SIDE LOAD ANY APPS ON THIS TV!!!! So it’s a absolute NO for me 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

I bought online and when I went to the store to pick it up, the box was damaged so I didn’t want to accept it. They brought it back in the store so I can exchange it and I was told I couldn’t do that because I bought it online. I had to return it online and that was just seem silly to me now the TV sold out so the customer service on this was not good. The whole TV is damaged. It’s almost as if they set a pallet on it and it’s very damaged so now I’m stuck with a broken TV that I have to somehow get back to the warehouse and then re-order it when I knew it was damaged in Walmart wouldn’t help me in store not a good experience
