onn 50" Class 4K UHD Powered by VIZIO Smart Television, 50S4V1

It might be a little premature to review this TV since I've only had it for a few hours, but I am very impressed with it so far. My old Sceptre flat screen died suddenly, and I needed a new TV fast. I ordered on Wed. night, and it was delivered Thurs. morning. The setup was super simple and walked me through every step. I have been a Roku user for many years and was wondering if the Vizio system was as good or better. I am pleased to find out it is very user-friendly, organized well, and still has the free movies, TV shows, and live programming I've enjoyed with Roku. Only now I don't have a little Roku box to deal with. The picture is clear and vibrant. The sound is amazing and plenty loud enough to annoy the neighbors. The remote control is actually a little bit shorter than the Roku remote. It's compact and utilitarian, which is fine with me. I've never been one who likes too many buttons that I never use anyway. Overall, a great buy for around $200 for a 50" TV plus a 3-year warranty add-on!

The only thing I was upset about is that the delivery driver put the package in front of my door and did not ring my doorbell or knock on my door and or ring my doorbell to let me know that the package had arrived. I live in an apartment building the big TV sat there, uncovered, and left there for anyone to take. I just wish the delivery driver would’ve took more time out just to ring my doorbell or to knock on my door to let me know that they have arrived and they were leaving a big 50 inch TV in front of my door in an apartment building. It would’ve been nice and decent for them to do that.

I bought this TV for my daughter for her apartment and her TV looks better than mine and I bought me a onn tv and hers look bigger than mine everything and I have a 50 inch I'm so glad that she's so happy with her TV she cried!!

This TV is absolutely spectacular the color and the brilliance of it for the price I paid is a deal. I definitely would recommend family and friends to purchase this television.

Setup was fairly easy just a Phillips screw driver . Sound is very good !! Very loud TV good quality speakers And quality video !!! Very well for its money

Great tv! i watch Netflix, YouTube, and a few others on there the video quality is really good you can see all details with no low quality. BUT when we first got it and set everything up it does take a little bit to load but no worry's it takes a while but it's definitely worth it. the tv also has screen mirroring, i use that sometimes to show stuff of my laptop to the tv it also works on phone i used iphone7 to screen mirror so it probably supports all the other phones to, the sound is Great but on Netflix it can sound kind of lower compared to YouTube. and just like any other tv we have to set up the legs with screws and stuff but overall, it might take a while to set up but it is definitely worth it!

Ok TV set was annoying couldn't continue set up without entering a credit card(went back and deleted). Sound it up and down very annoying during commercials have to adjust a lot..

The recent update on these Onn TVs requires you to sign in with your Walmart.com account . This is such an insane hassle; they did not use to require it. If you inquire as to why they have added it, its so they can provide "more tailored ads". There is no option to skip this, except to disconnect the tv from all internet, which makes the smart features unusable.

I purchased the tv set as a gift. I was unaware that in order to connect your wifi a Walmart Account is needed. You must purchase an external source and connect to the set in order to avoid the Walmart log in. I couldn't convince the gift recipient to return, I would have with the quickness. I feel it's a bit much and unnecessary to obtain info just for advertising. Nothing is safe anymore.

You must sign in or set up Vizio or Walmart app to watch TV apps. Why hold me hostage to your 2 preferred apps before accessing all tv functions. What a disgrace!!
