If you are way out in the sticks and you want 30 channels this is not the antenna for you, but if you want 4-6 channels that come in clear and strong, it is a cheap antenna that will get you that. It comes with new cable and a small amplifier or signal booster, plus the mounting bracket.
This is a very good antenna. Our towers are 45 miles plus away and we have lots of trees around us. We put one outside to use the tv in the garage and it brings in a lot of channels. We now have one in the house and it works just as well. Great price, fast shipping and clear HD pictures.
Easy setup. Installed two antennas for two different friends. They were extremely happy with the results. Mounted antennas about 12-14 feet off the ground.
I haven't used it outdoors yet. It is at the ceiling one floor house.iget 30 channels six of which I can not get which my two indoor antennas. I plan to put it outside eventually. I think it will be a 5 star.
this worked great - picked up local stations better than my older non-directional unit, mounted on same pole on my roof - no more problems with lost stations. Would have preferred more sturdy mounting brackets (not made of plastic) but for price it is good value.
i like this antenna picks up 38 channels i know theres more but im on the 1st floor and i just stick it out my apartment picture quality is very good does not break up signal as much as my other one i highly recommend it for the price if your close to signals
This outdoor antenna works well! I live about 50 miles from all transmitting towers in my area; in a somewhat rural part of my county. Some channels play as clear as cable! Some channels will play but continued to blink in and out. I found 32 channels with one scan...it really depends on your location and the location of the antenna!
We live about 25 miles from towers and have UHF and VHF stations. This antenna did not perform as well as a ten dollar Philips HD Classic. (tried many locations)
The antenna was a easy install. When I connected or tried to the coaxial end of the connection to antenna side turned with the coaxial and it twisted the wiring inside it making unusable. Called the 800 number and left a message for a call back to no avail. Hooked antenna without the booster and can only get 4 channels. Seems like I wasted my $$$
I had an older antenna I bought from Walmart. It had a 70 mile range and got 23 channels all from Huntsville. I live between Huntsville, Birmingham, and Atlanta. I read where this antennal was omni directional and had a 150 mile range. Since I was only getting channels from Huntsville I thought if I installed this that I might get channels from Birmingham and Atlanta since both are well within the 150 mile range. I installed it beside my older antenna. The older antenna does not require power. This one does so I ran power to it and hooked it up. The light would not come on so I tested the power. It was all good but still no light. I wiggled the unit's power supple cord a little and the light came on. I climbed back down for about the 4th time and turned the TV on. I only got 3 channels and they were not watchable. I switched back to my old antenna.
