For the price, it was well worth it. I had a Visio TV bought back in 2009. It still works and had to move it. The new TV was lighter than the old and I have a lot more channels. I'm still playing with it, color adjustments, volume, and watching free movies.
love it! sound is ok for it just being the tv. the screws for the legs were a little difficult. but everything is fantastic!
The tv arrived quickly and I mounted it on my wall. The picture and sound quality are good . I loved the value for the price paid. Setup was fairly simple, but I was surprised that Walmart required you to enroll in a Walmart account before you can use the tv.
My son put it together so I don't know but it's good. It has good screen has real good sound about too much sound but yeah we didn't buy any speakers. We didn't buy anything. It comes with movies for free and then we had to add the $10 for Xfinity so OK hope you get it.
Tv interface is nothing but advertising. You have to sign in to your walmart account to activate television. Lacking in some of my favorite apps including MyRadar, Kanopy, Hoopla and quite a few others. Basic television. Not bad. Nothing to brag about. Going to order a different television and either put this on the curb or give it away to a thrift store or family who needs television. ANY television. Now, I need to figure out how to reset it to factory settings.
once I finally received the tv after waiting four days for delivery from the store I had to pay 189.99 in order to program the tv. you have to purchase a smart tv plan from Vizio in order to program the tv. I don't recommend this tv. I'm going back to Roku tvs from now on.
Yes, I brought the TV home. I could not get the picture to come in. They told me that I need to go to a Walmart app and Vizio and pay 99.00 dollars to get app up so I could get my TV on.He said if I read the box it said that, I really don't understand what they are saying.. I told him I was going to take it back he said take it back in should have read the box. That's really messed up.
The TV is fine. I just cannot believe that I have to make a Walmart account to use the TV to it's full ability. I should not have to have an account to watch whaterever I want on a TV. I should have the freedom to use a TV that I bought the way I want to. It seems that nowadays you need to have a subscription for everything.
The tv did not come with a power cord. I went to Walmart to see if they would give me one. They stated they all come with power cords. Well, mine did not. They told me I'd have to go through a whole return and order a different one. It's a 55 inch tv unpacked and mounted now. Dang. I just bought a power cord. Never buying Walmarts brand again though. Make sure you check the box don't do what I did and assume it's in there.
I thought the picture wasn't clear because I was playing movies on the labtop. My dvd players need hdmi adaptors. I bought a dvd player today and the picture on the tv is not clear. I tried the dvd player on the other 2 tvs, and the picture was clear. I won't buy another Onn to powered by vizio again.
