I absolutely love my TV, but the only thing that y'all could change for the better that would save customers alot of money would be to be able to adjust where you can put the legs. Currently there is only one place to put them so if your TV goes out and you want to go buy a bigger TV, you also have to spend more money on a bigger TV stand because the legs only go in one spot so therefore the TV stand you have for the old TV fits it, so if you want to go with a bigger TV, you have to go with a bigger TV stand. That's the only complaint that I have, and it's really not a complaint, its really just a suggestion to help your customers who doesn't won't to mount there TV on the wall a solution to be able to keep there existing TV stand for there new bigger TV with adjustable legs. Thank You for taking the time to read my review. Again, I love my TV, and would highly recommend it to everyone!!!!!
okay so let's start with the cons on this TV and then we'll go to the pros Con Roku makes you put a credit card on on your account will not let you skip it I don't like that that means I might watch a movie that I don't realize and I have to pay for it or I might add in a subscription and not realize it so that is definitely a con now saying that this TV is so easy to set up so easy to watch and the colors are just popping only one thing I didn't realize how big a 65-in TV was but I love it I thought my other TV was a 55 I found out my other TV is a 40-in but that's all right it was a reconditioned TV totally different brand it lasted 5 years I'm happy with that but this TV's really easy I should have got a Roku stick years ago I'm not watching the news I've been so out of the loop for 6 years because I could get any news on regular TV this is wonderful I mean this is a must-have TV colors just pop I mean the sound is just perfect this is a really good TV I was a little worried cuz I'm a Vizio person but this TV is exceptional I've had it in my safe for later for years and then when they marked it down $100 I said oh let's buy it so I did this was my birthday present I turned 64 holy crap I'm old but it was a good investment this is my birthday present to me I've been saving for a long time because social security just ate what it used to be or disability so this is worth saving for I'm sorry I rambled oh well you get the picture
Picked up from Wal-mart since all the reviews say delivering it shows up smashed. 65in fit in the back of my Hyundai no problem. I bought it as they switched from onn Roku to onn Visio now. The onn Roku tv was $110 off original Al price. $238 for 65 in tv is a steal. It has 3 hdmi port and one of them is an ARC for connecting surround sound systems. Paired immediately with my ONN soundbar and surround sound system. Tv was light enough for me to hang on my wall by self using a ONN walmount bracket. Too early to know how long it will last, but sound, before the sound bar is good, picture quality is great, but the best part is how fast the control moves in the menus. I've had too many TVs,(Samsung, Hisense, Fire tv, etc) and the menu and cotroller are very laggy and menus take days to get to your destination. The remote and menus work smoothly together, with no lag, and fast easy browsing or searching. My only issue is I think I hung my tv too high…..but that's a me problem.🤦♂️🤷♂️
This is the second one I bought. it has a nice picture quality. different picture setting and sound settings which is nice.. plus it's 65" which is great. And you get the roku channels and movies so it's a great deal especially with the low price.
If you have a newish standalone Roku device in your home, it probably came with a voice remote. It's great because you can easily search by voice across all of your streaming services at once. This TV has a very watered down remote, no voice command capability, and the volume/mute buttons are annoyingly located on the side of the remote, so that you often end up pressing them when merely picking up the remote. The upside is that you can download the Roku app on your phone and pair it with your TV so you can do voice command functions from your phone or tablet. Or buy an upgraded Roku remote. The other bummer is it only has three (3) HDMI ports, and one can be used as an HDMI input like the other two, OR it can be connected to ARC devices (i.e., a sound bar). I have 3 devices I want to connect plus the sound bar (game console, DVD/bluray player and my PC), so I have to use the optical port for connection to the sound bar (first time EVER I've even used an optical connection), which means I can't use the TV remote to control the volume via the HDMI ARC connection. This also means I have to manually select OPTICAL on the sound bar remote if I've had it on another input, and I have to turn it off manually because it won't recognize when I turn the TV off). For me these are fairly minor annoyances and most people probably only have two devices they want to connect in addition to the sound bar, which would work fine with this TV. It is really helpful to have a second person to help unpack and secure the two feet to the bottom of the TV. The last time I bought a TV this size in 2018 it cost around $1700 so the price tag on this was quite reasonable.
I like this tv but I would of rather get the Samsung Qled 65in because the pictures Is crispy or tcl Q7 120Hz 65in because this tv only do 60Hz and it’s not enough for my ps5 best settings I found for the tv gamma 2.2,dynamic contrast low/off,noise reduction off
Honestly, you get what you pay for but I was thinking it was gonna be a decent deal. As soon as it came in we tried to put the legs on and the holes inside the tv were stripped so the legs won’t even attach correctly causing it to be loose, now hopefully it can be mounted with no problems. The sound on the TV sounds muffled and doesn’t go any higher after 50, I seen someone else say the same thing in the reviews but I didn’t think it would be as bad as it really is. The LED on the screen is extremely sensitive even with the smallest touch it looks like it will break easy. But like I said you get what you pay for I guess but 300$ later I still expect for it not to be stripped or broken etc. 🤦🏻♀️
of course I did not purchase the insurance and what happens?? the picture went out. had been using for less than 90 days. the screen went completely out and can only hear the volume. it was on sale for less than $300 . I guess it is like that old lady saying for this item "you get what you pay for". do not buy!!
I purchased the TV and insurance on May 25, 2025. In less than 1 month of having the TV, It stopped working. The day it stopped working, I placed a return order and was sent an email from Walmart.com, directing me to return it to any Walmart store by 7/9/25 for a full refund. On 6/28/25, I attempted to return the TV to the San leandro, CA Walmart and they would not honor the return document nor accept the TV, although I had until 7/9/25 to return it. I called Walmart.com and spoke to Jake, who said Walmart was supposed to honor the return. Jake told me he would set up another return date and refund all my money. I am awaiting the refund and return documents. Thank you, Jake, for upholding Walmart's refund/return policy!
