I love this tablet especially that it has 32 gb of storage and the battery life is great. You can actually add SD card storage too. The camera is just ok, but not using it for that. I do my crossword puzzle games and my child does her learning games educational games for the kids. The size is perfect for travel and I can easily store it in my purse. It
This is really a good a tablet. The perfect first tablet for anyone. For most ages. It is lightweight and durable. I really like the size of it. Fits perfectly in your hands, for easier use. So easy to use. The screen is easy to touch. The start up is a snap. Easy to follow instructions. No problems whatsoever. You can make the letters Just about any size you'd like. Everything comes with this that you will need. Doesn't seem to take long to charge. I highly recommend this for your needs. It would really make a great gift
This is a great tablet! It's smooth and fast. Using the auto set-up it was done in a flash. Easy to use. It comes with some apps already downloaded like YouTube. The battery life is long! Processing time is quick. Nice screen definition. You can but a SD card and expand the memory. This 8 inches tablet is perfect size for my kid. It is skinny and lightweight, easy to carry.
I am loving this tablet!!! It had everything you could want. Front and back camera, love that. It is has android so cannot go wrong to begin with. 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage with the micro SD, that is a feature I really love2.0 quad-core processing. This tablet is 8", as seen in my pictures, perfect sized tablet. It is also very thin and lightweight, another huge plus for me. It comes with the charging cord and adapter. I set this up with the quickness because of the quick start guide adhered to the screen! The color is awesome! Did not even need the directions. What I loved most about the set up was how easily I could connect the tablet with my Google account, super fast! Setting up my email was super fast as well. It runs very fast which I need it to do. I tried several things on it to leave a better review for others, like gaming. It would make a gamer happy guys for sure! I downloaded several games to see of it responded quickly enough to be efficient for gamers, it would not disappoint you. For my needs, school, emailing and and chatting this is perfect for me! I am in love with it and would recommend to anyone who asked me about it. I in fact already have! With Christmas coming up I think this would make a great gift for those of you looking for a good one. It has and does everything you need and want it to! I hope this is helpful!!
The tablet is pretty good. Easy to use if you have any other android devices. Its just like an android phone. The tablet is pretty light so its not tiring to hold. Set up is pretty easy. Turn on, connect to wifi and exisiting google account if you have one. The screen is not glass, so it does feel a plasticky. I notice there is a slight delay in touch response. Its very negligible. You probably wont notice it all unless someone points it out to you. Overall its a good purchase for a more affordable tablet. The backing has a nice feel. The camera is okay, iphone 8 and samsung galaxy s8 have better cameras than this, but again its more of an affordable tablet.
This is a very nice tablet with a lot of fantastic features. I've used the onn. 8" tablet regularly for a week and it's surprised me several times. The tablet really holds up well with a variety of notable features. I'm not used to tablets being this impressive and holding a battery charge for days. Right out of the box, I noted the tablet wasn't heavy in hand. The UI reminds me of my smartphone which is nice and home-like because I feel that I'm familiar with the tablet already. The onn. tablet isn't crammed with a bunch of junk apps that you'll never use, and it's easy to navigate with a touch. The tablet comes with a quick start guide, a USB-C + AC adapter, and three coupons for Vudo, Walmart Grocery, and buying Walmart books. Which is great, I like all three and who doesn't like to save money with discounts? Speaking of which, I love the crystal-clear quality of the tablet. The movies I stream look great and the sound is crisp with no echo or distant tone. I also read and play mobile games a ton on it. When I played my mobile games for over six hours, the game graphics remained vibrant and the onn. tablet didn't get hot. My old Samsung tablet practically felt like I was holding a steaming mug of coffee whenever I played it for too long, but the onn. tablet felt light and comfortable in hand. Another pleasant surprise is that the battery life is better than my current laptop. I can binge watch several movies and not worry about having to charge it for several long hours. The tablet has a night mode and blue filter to help ease eye strain for late night playing or reading. The touchscreen is nicely responsive and with the large screen it makes reading e-books or comic books a dream. I've only two cons with the onn. tablet. One is with the camera and the other is with the Sam's Club app. The pictures I took with the tablet came out a little grainy. Now I wasn't expecting HDR quality, but I also hoped for no grain on the outside of the picture focus. Though a slight blur filter on a graphics app can take care of that right away. The other thing is that the Sam's Club app doesn't seem to be compatible with the tablet. The app can be disabled but not uninstalled, which irritated me a little, but that's a personal gripe not reflective of the onn. tablet. Overall, the onn. 8" tablet is fantastic for everyday use. The touchscreen is responsive, the graphics and sound quality are crisp and vibrant. The tablet boots up quick when I have to install security updates or need to power it off for the night. The internal storage is roomy with enough space for your apps and files. There's a slot to add a MicroSD card if you need extra storage. I also like that it has a favorites icon to put all your most used apps on and if you hold down the power button—it brings up a sliding overlay that makes taking screenshots a breeze. No more holding down two random buttons at the same time and hoping it's the right combination to take a screenshot! I definitely recommend it. If you like using a versatile tablet with plenty of internal storage, a responsive large screen, and a powerful tablet with a battery that can hold a steady charge for long hours for streaming movies, reading books, playing games and browsing social media, then the onn. tablet is the right tablet for you.
This is a pretty simple tablet. It's a user friendly budget option for those looking for something simple. The OS seems a bit outdated so some of the latest, more graphic heavy apps don't work on this. This is best for simple tasks - web browsing, YouTube, e-reading apps, simple games, streaming music, checking email. It's not really meant for any heavy duty gaming or large streaming services. That said, it's pretty solid for a budget tab. It holds a decent charge, it's easy to use, screen size is good and it works well for basic stuff.
This tablet is a nice size, midway between my 6.4" Android phone and my 10.1" Android tablet. It charges with a USB-C cable, and not with the older micro USB, so that is a plus. The front and rear cameras are 2 megapixels each, which was state-of-the-art back in 2003, so any photographs taken are not particularly sharp and clear and become somewhat fuzzy when enlarged. Screen resolution is clear and it has a 2 gigahertz quad core microprocessor, 2 GB of ram, and 32 GB of storage, with the option of adding a micro SD card. Battery life is stated to be 9 hours. It arrived almost fully charged so I tried it out before charging it and it seemed to work fine. After I charged it to full capacity and disconnected it from the USB cable, it would not turn on no matter what I did. After 10 minutes of trying and re-reading the enclosed instructions, I plugged it back in and then and only then would it turn on. This happens every time I charge it. It does not happen when it is completely shut down and rebooted, but not charged. Most frustrating to me is that the user interface has been designed in such a manner that many icons/programs cannot be moved and set up in the sequence or order that the user may prefer. I believe this device would be suitable for adults who are technologically challenged or for small children. At first I thought the sound feature might have been defective as videos and music could barely be heard. After some digging through the settings, I discovered that there is a "booster" setting which must be turned on to have a normal level of sound. However, it sounds just fine if earbuds are plugged in and used. Perhaps the low volume setting would be good for a child who is constantly using the device and this would encourage them to use earbuds and not potentially annoy everyone within earshot. I was able to download and use several of my favorite apps from the Play Store and set them up with no difficulty. For my purposes, this tablet will be relegated to video streaming and watching my cat play his favorite "catch the fish" app.
Let me start off by saying that this is the first tablet computer I've ever owned. Using the onn. 8`` tablet is very much like using your cell phone but with one big exception, the screen is much larger which is a plus for those of us who don't see as well as we used to. The start-up process and setting things up didn't take long at all with all of the updates that had to be done prior to use. The hot buttons and short cuts are very easy to get accustomed to. The Google search bar is always present for quick searches but unfortunately you cannot remove it from the screen, I don't use Google search so this was disappointing. The 2 megapixel camera produced lower quality images compared to most cell phones on the market today. Surfing the internet and downloading webpages was very fast and viewing online videos was seamless, I didn't experience any lags. A lot of the features wanted me to link to my online account which I am not very fond of. The stand-by battery life was very good however if you are using the onn. 8`` tablet to view full length movies, the battery seams inadequate and it is best to have the rapid charger handy. For just downloading webpages for research and such, the onn. 8`` tablet is a very useful computer.
This tablet is a pretty decent tablet for a beginner. It has most functions that any other tablet has, however, there are.features that are less than perfect. I encountered issues within 24 hours of setting.up.the tablet, it was a force close issue that fixed itself within the system after an update. There are minor details that I would change, I still can't do certain things like screenshot and it seems to be slower to get my emails to me. I like the tablet as a basic user tablet, good for occasional use and for photos and videos but if you use a tablet a lot, I would suggest a more efficient one. This is a good tablet for children also, as the functions are relatively easy and setup.is also easy to do. I love the storage on the device. I feel like I can have all of my.photos on the device without issue. I would recommend this for children or beginners but would not for more intense tablet users who would use this device on a very frequent basis. This is a basic tablet with basic features that.work well as long as it is kept updated but for more intense use it might struggle some.
