very sturdy

This was so simple I just set it next to my work station and when I'm moving a lot I have my laptop at eye level. Once I sit down I simply take it down and back on the desk it goes.

a lot different in person but still cool. Walmart takes good pics lol, but the wrench to adjust this item wasn't present, so it remains in the collapsed locked position, unusable for now. Bummer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a set it and forget it laptop stand. Making adjustments requires a given tool. The only thing Id like is the ability to lock the rotation. Some times I would like it to stay still and not rotate.

I like the stand - I think it will do what I need it to. But I am VERY disappointed in the way the angles (height and tilt) are adjusted: You have to use the allen wrench that was included with the stand, to loosen the nuts at all the joints, and then try to hold it in place with one hand while you tighten the lugnuts. Not an easy thing to do - the nuts are close to the base or the tray, so you can't see the nut - you have to do it "by feel" so it is hard to seat the wrench. then you can't move the wrench more than an inch before you have to take off the wrench and do it again. I had envisioned a "release lever" that would unock the joints so you could move it around and then lock it in place. it took me a few tries (loosening the bolts and then tightening them back up) but it is what it is. if I saw a similar product out there I would probably buy it, but this is the only one that has a swivel at the base. At least the swivel moves freely! I took a photo of the made looking underneath my laptop, at one of the "legs" from the inside, where you loosen the nuts. - I wanted to make sure you can see the nuts on both joints. very awkward to get your wrench in there without being about to move the height.
