Even though this is my 3rd dash cam, this was such a breeze. The format is wonderful. No battery door to worry about popping off (like my last one). It turns on automatically once you power your car. I unplug mine when I turn off my engine. You can charge it to keep filming after power is off but charging not nessary. Nice clear picture. Small enough it does not impede any view point on your windshield.
its serves its purpose. the only issue i have is that you cant see videos from the dash cam but it does what it needs to do
Its quality isn't bad, until it's night. Then the glare seems much worse on the screen. Yes, I did attempt to clean it, but it still seems bad. Also, every single minute and a half starts a new clip, which takes up a lot of the memory in the card, even if the clip is 4 seconds long, it will be the same length as every other clip.
I boght this sort of as a test to see if i could ise it as a rear dash cam for my car. It seams to work except when it needs to loop record. I haven't saved any video and even put in a spare 64 gig sd card and it keeps running out of space. I refuses to write over the old video files so you will have to format it every couple of days. Everything else is okay about this device. the bad: wont loop record and write over older material, also wont auto switch from day to night. the good: okay video, small, takes regular mini usb power, cheap.
I bought two dashcams, one of them broke at the charging plug in, it came loose when I tried to plug it in to charge it for the first time,
Terrible, especially at night! Grainy video that basically becomes useless at night because of car and street lights! I bought 3 of these for my family and 2 stopped working the first week! Returned them for the same model and for now the replacements are still functioning.
dashcam work well for the first couple weeks but later it fail to keep a charger as well it did not save any recording even with ssd card install. The dashcam will also shuts off and the screen lags out here and there. Return it for a new one assuming maybe it was just the unit I had was bad but the new one that was replaced didnt even hold a charger and the screen will lag out.
So cheaply made. The menu button didn't work straight out of the box. Stupid me tried to take the cover off to try and fix the button since it seemed to be stuck; then the crappy made screen cover broke. Now I guess I'm stuck with this and can't fully use it. Save your money.
I received my package and opened it to find that the item box from the manufacturer had already been opened and the dash mount and the connecting cable are missing.
Had problems with unit maintaining power connection; unit would randomly turn off; finally tried to remove power connection from device and part of internal connection came out with the plug; unit is completely unusable
