onn. DVD Player with HDMI cable

I was shocked to read this Onn product is a Walmart brand. I guess they wouldn't sell many if they were "Great Value" DVD players. All that aside, this is a simple DVD only player. It doesn't play Blu-Rays. It does say it plays other media formats. I found an old Commodores CD and it played the music. It sounded great. I put in a CD-R of an MRI I had years ago and it couldn't read it. I'm not sure if that was because of the device, the program, or sometimes hospitals and clinics encrypt these so they can only be played by medical professions (I know this from personal experience). I am old and a majority of my favorite movies are from the 1980's and I still own the regular DVD versions of them. So, this Onn DVD player is perfect for me. It was super easy to hook up. Thank you for including the HDMI cable. I loved that it included the batteries for the remote! I would buy this for myself. I am enjoying it right now.

I thought this DVD player was cool for the fact I never had to plug it into an outlet , the charging cord leads to a USB that plugs onto a wall outlet , most tvs have USB outlets on the back of themso you can use your TV to power your DVD player ..perfect for not clogging needed outlets

I have several movies that I love to watch that are not on any streaming service so I love having a DVD player to watch my guilty pleasure movies The! The DVD player sets up in seconds. Simply plug in and you are ready to go. I love that the player comes with its own HDMI cord. Two cords and I'm all ready for movie night I think it's a great value for the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the need of a DVD player.

I received my ONN HDMI DVD player. I set it up in my grand daughter's bedroom. It was so easy to set up and at 5 years old she already knows how to play it. I would encourage all my family to get one for their home. It's small and compact, will fit in any space. Since getting custody of her I try to keep her busy and she loves watching her DVD's.

I found a ONN HDMI DVD player very easy to install. I even tried it on some of my old CDs and it showed perfectly. The instructions were easy to follow I had no trouble getting it connected. And I love the remote with it. so I would definitely recommend this to anybody who needs a new DVD player.

The ONN Upscaling HDMI DVD player was easy to install. I do not consider myself to be technically savvy; however, I was able to install without assistance. The DVD player works as intended and met my expectations. I liked the slim design; it would be easy to travel with, if needed. My 9 year old daughter was able to operate independently and play her DVDs. Overall would recommend.

The ONN upscaling DVD player was great. It had auto start which is great for kids DVDs. The upscaling made the picture look so clear. The sound that was produced was great also. The DVD player was pretty small so that was a plus also. I would give it 4 stars.

The ONN Upscaling HDMI DVD Player is a good DVD player. The lightness of the product worried me a little, but the quality of picture that the player showed was good. The only real problem that I had was the power supple cord being too short...I had to connect an extension cord to plug in it. It is a USB plug as well so that could work for some instances like plugging into a laptop. Good overall product.

First glance I thought the DVD player was pretty cool. It didn't need to be plugged into a wall outlet. Just HDMI and RCA connectors that both plug into the TV. The first movie I put in worked, the picture was pretty good, sound was good, overall quality was pretty decent(hence where the 2 stars came from). After that I took the disc out and turned the player off. The next day when I went to use it everY disc I put in had an error message popping up saying no disc and wouldn't read any disc I put in. I looked online at other reviews and saw that this is a pretty common issue with this player and it could be either the laser, the disc tray is aligned, or the player is just defective. I wouldn't recommend this specific DVD player. Maybe if there was a guarantee all above issues were fixed because like I said the quality wasn't terrible.

Purchased this 4 months ago . No damage and didn't drop it or anything and just stopped working . I emailed them explaining this and they basically told me to get the protection plan next time . I just dont get how something new can just not work in 4 months .
