This drive has great performance for an external drive. I have it hooked up to my PC and attached is a photo of the benchmark I ran. Gets very close to the 2000 MB/s rating on the box. It comes with a USB-C cable which I am using and a USB-A so you can pretty much plug it into anything. Great little portable SSD highly recommended!

simple plug and play. fast enough data transfer for me to store game files. like everyone said you cannot install games on this and play off it but have to tx back to the internal storage in order to play. much better than downloading using your internet.

Just buy it whether you intended for the use as marketed or as an external SSD drive. If you have a fast port like USB4 or TB4 then this is for you. Transferred 160 Gig of video files on my Mac mini M4 in less than 3 minutes. Never had an external drive this fast including other more popular brand names like Sand1sk or S@msung.

ultra fast when transfering games . but you cannot play new series s or x games on it

The game onn. Ultra fast portable solid-state drive to test out complimentary in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. First off I love that is comes with its own travel carrying case and two cords, one that is a usb to usb-c and the other being usb-c to usb-c, great for on the go. It's ultra lightweight. Fast transfer speed, it connected to my daughters android phone right away with no issues, however my iPhone I could not get it to connect to. When attempting to connect it to my laptop I had to download an update, but other than that it was smooth sailing. I'm a mom, so I take so many pictures of my children and my storage becomes completely full very often. Now instead of going through and picking pictures to delete I can transfer over to my onn pss drive and save every memory. I love the small sleek design, and how it fits in my purse and glove box. So convenient, it even fits in my laptop case.

I liked the 50% off price tag. The Onn brand has become a formidable low budget option in tech and gaming. I don't mind slumming it with this gear.

price was reasonable but need more clarification tou cant play the game directly from the storage you have to install on the 1s then play

Works alright. Sometimes disconnect randomly for the most part. It's all right

Not allowed to play/run games on it. What's the point of having it then. Can't return it I'll just have to use it. What a waste of money.

doesn't work with Xbox series s or x you cannot load any new game from the SSD it serves as only a game drive or media device for pictures and music
