I love this power strip. Its very heavy duty, and the quality is great. It is not cheaply made, will last a long time and be secure. It has 10 outlets with 2 USB ports, which is so convenient. The cord is 6 feet long.It has 2 transformer spaced + 8 regular AC outlets.3300 Joule energy absorption rating. It has a On/Off switch with integrated 15A circuit breaker. It also has LED Protection and grounded indicators, and Keyhole mounting slots. This is really great for everyday use or heavy duty use.I have it in my office. This is a really good product and I would highly recommend for everyone.
I love surge protector's they really keep your appliances safe. The storm's are so bad where I live, and in the past I have lost tv,s and small appliances with one bad bolt of lightning. So I have them in all the buildings on all the outlets that I use. There's nothing worse than having to replace a laptop or big screen tv after having a lightning strike so close to the house.
We love the Onn brand! We have a smart tv, external speakers %26 multiple surge protectors. Our main reason for all these purchases was price, but we are blown away with their products! And no, we were not paid for saying all this. We're just an average family living on a budget.
So far so good. This has 2 USB plugs for charging things so you're stuff doesn't take up any of the plugs. It has 2 lights to tell you that it's protected & grounded so you know that it's on and working. I like the reassurance that it gives that it's not unplugged. It has 10 plugs and 2 of those being set aside in case you need to plug in something that has a bigger style box. The plug cord for this is a 3 pronged plug that is flat so it doesn't stick out so that if you're plugging it in behind something you don't have to leave a ton of space between it & the wall for the plug to stick out! Overall I'd say it's pretty great!
Just what I needed. One plug takes p a lot of room then there are a couple of more to plug in, all going to my pc. Not only the high surge protection but I like that it is switched so I can completely shut off power. Great price!
We have a mess of cables behind the TV. I'm always having to unplug something to make room to plug another electronic in. Finally have this 10 outlet surge protector. I'm going to sit down and fix all this so it looks nice and off the floor. Right now we have a recliner and lamp and usb plugged in for my husband's phone to use and at night he plugs in his CPAP. I wish I had another one of these. Now I can charge a couple of things at one time. The outlet cord is heavy duty. See picture of mess behind TV. When I get this organized, I will post picture of how nice it looks with this new 10 outlet surge protector. If you have a lot of electrical cords that you need plugged in, you need this.
I love that it has spots for usb cords! Great feature. It looks well constructed and like it will last a long time. It has a lot of space for plugs! The only concern I have is that we wanted to use it to charge our dogs collars and the chargers on those are larger and they take over two spaces so we cannot utilize all the outlets on it at the same time. If you have regular sized things plugged in it's no big deal.
The picture of the actual power strip might be hard to see because my tv stand is also black, but suffice it to say that it really freed up space on my floor making it easier to vacuum & also keeps cords out of the way of our pets. because of the angle of the plug, the power cord to the strip lies flat against the wall which is another plus for me. I really like that we can charge our speaker without having to use an addition plug! The USB ports mean we can avoid having to unplug something else in order to charge the speaker or having to take the speaker to another outlet altogether. As to the actual design, I prefer the wider & shorter design. I would definitely consider switching some of my older surge protectors to this type. They are thinner & streamlined & designed to go with more up to date technology than some of the ones I have that still have phone jacks on them instead of USB ports. The only down side I found was that my older surge protectors had slides that covered the outlets not in use so they didn't get dusty inside. I don't really have that problem with this one at the moment though as all the outlets are in use.
I have a few chargers that are wider than a normal outlet so I needed a power strip with more room. This one has 10 outlets and 2 of those have extra space on both sides (2 have extra space on one side.) The other 6 are pretty close together. There are also 2 USB ports. I like having indicator lights to tell when the outlets are "grounded" or "protected." I REALLY like having a power switch to turn off all the outlets when I'm not using them! Oh, I also like that you can plug it in behind furniture because it has a flat plug, it doesn't stick straight out of the wall. (it's less likely to be accidentally unplugged)
My kid is a gamer and budding coder. My husband is a coder and gamer. They do retro gaming, Computer gaming and programming, and more modern gaming. As such, we have quite a few electronics that need power. We also live in a home built in 1940. There are not a lot of outlets, so we are constantly looking for power strips. I especially like this one because of the two built in USB ports. This allows things to be plugged in without a brick, saving room on the outlets, especially since many USB bricks are bulky and cover more than one outlet. This also has spots on the back to allow for easy wall mounting.
