The Surf On monitor and laptop stand is a nice option if you need to raise your monitor or laptop. It is very sturdy and appears to be high quality. Out of the box, it needs to be assembled. It comes with its own allen wrench and takes just a few minutes to assemble it. It was simple and easy. It raises your laptop 4 inches higher and helps improve ergonomics so you don't have to bend your neck to read your monitor. With the stand, my monitor is at my eye level so my neck doesn't ache as much! The maximum weight for this stand is 44 pounds which is a good weight to be able to support most monitors and laptops. One drawback is that the height is not adjustable, so it may not work for everybody. I recommend measuring your desk and laptop set up prior to selecting a laptop or monitor stand height. Overall, this is a great laptop and monitor stand and I recommend it.

This is a stable and well finished laptop stand. It comes disassembled and includes the hardware and a small wrench that is required to assemble. Takes about 3 minutes to assemble. It has pads on the tubes that rest on your desk and doesn't move at all once placed. It is listed as being good for 13-16 inch laptops. It fits my 15.6 laptop very well and my 17 inch fits it well with just a little overhang on each side, but it is very stable and comfortable to use. Gives you a good height for typing and there is room underneath for manuals or accessories.

This is a great laptop stand. I frequently do meetings or dr appts online and this makes it so very easy to be able to go over port work while having my computer accessible to be In the meetings i high recommend these to everyone. I wish it came in more colors but alas black will do!

The larger size of the laptop stand is nice because I know my computer will stay put. It is not going to slide and fall off. The stand is very strong and sturdy, and was easy to put together. I may even use this as a shelf to hold my DVD player or video game console, because they can get warm on the bottom.

This is a functional and nice looking laptop stand... You can also use it for a monitor. I like it because it raises up my laptop so I have a better viewing position and I'm not hurting my back or neck. It will support 13-16" laptops or 44 lb monitors so it is pretty sturdy. It's very easy to assemble and store. I also like that it is vented so there is no heat build up.

For some reason, when I saw this monitor and laptop stand, I thought that it would be great to use when I am sitting or laying in bed or sitting on my couch with my laptop. I thought it would be nice to have something to raise it up off of the bed, so that the heat from the laptop does not get worse sitting directly on the be. I have since learned that most people use these stands on a desk to lift up their laptop or, shockingly enough, to put their monitor on. I used it as a laptop stand as I was sitting in bed. It can go on your lap, but the lap would have to be quite narrow and the part that would sit above or on your thighs is not comfortable to have on your thighs. If you just put it in between your legs, the outer corners of the stand dig into your legs and that is also not comfortable. So, since I don't really have a dedicated desk for myself, I won't be using this much. But, it is a very sturdy laptop stand and it was very easy to put together. I will let my children use it as they both have desks.

I really like using this Onn Monitor and Laptop Stand for 13” – 16” Laptops or Monitors Up to 44 Lbs. because it brings my laptop screen up to the level of my eyes and reduces my neck and back pain from the stress of straining to see my laptop screen. This stand is made from steel and is very durable. It is strong enough to support a 16 inch laptop, or a monitor that weighs up to 44 pounds. It is much lighter than I thought it might be. It only has 3 pieces along with 4 screws. Assembly is totally easy and quick and I had absolutely no problem at all. You simply turn the metal tray over, put the legs into place and attach them with the screws. A little wrench is included to tighten the screws with. A quick start guide is included, but I did not really need it. The black color works well because black goes with everything, after all. There are rubber pads on the bottom of the legs to keep it from scratching your table or desk. I would have no problem recommending this stand because of how easy it is to put together and how durable it is.

This is a nice laptop stand. It holds a medium sized monitor or laptop. I put my laptop on it and put my portable keyboard on my desk. That way I can look at the screen while typing and my neck doesn't hurt. I have a problem with my right wrist so it helps with the angle of my typing. It is very sturdy and the holes help vent my laptop. Some laptops get hot if on your lap and this prevents that. All in all a nice addition to my daily online experience.

This laptop/monitor stand is perfect for holding my old - and Very Heavy - 15" Laptop. It feels like strong steel without being heavy and I don't see any bowing in either the legs or the shelf. I haven't noticed the Laptop fan kicking in so the heat dissipation holes seem to be working. The 4" height is fine for my line-of-sight (I am very short with my office chair set to low). The legs have 2 rubbery built-in "feet" plugs each that keep it from sliding around. My 2 favorite features are that I can store my aux. keyboard underneath it, and I can stand it up to save space when not in use.

The onn. Laptop stand came very well packaged. There was very minor and simple assembly. The stand is very sturdy with holes to prevent overheating. There's enough room for my wireless keyboard to sit under the stand. I would like the stand to be about an inch higher for typing on the keyboard.
