Love these headphones

Mighty May 8, 2020

I am really impressed with these headphones. When I first opened the box I was surprised to see they were inside a hard sided zip up case. The headphones themselves actually fold to half their size which is a nice feature. I charged them for a few hours and then tested them out. Bluetooth connected easily. The noise canceling feature works well and I like that you can change songs and adjust the volume by tapping the right ear. They were comfortable and fit my head well without sliding around. Look forward to using them to listen to music while working.

Fantastic headphones

Punkinpie75 May 15, 2020

A fantastic noise cancellation headphone! This one is my favourite headphone of all time. Excellent build quality. Great sound quality. Terrific looking! There is not a single thing bad I can say about this one. I find them to be worth every cent. The noise cancelling feature works wonders on buses, planes basically any commute. Especially on plane rides, I often use the noise cancelling feature to get me right to sleep and now often sleep through entire trip. The battery life is amazing too. I really like that it is rechargeable and can also be just hooked directly to your device either way. These are overall really great headphones for the price.

great affordable earphones

Kris May 14, 2020

The Onn headphones received very well packaged and safe. When I opened the box I noticed they were bigger than I expected. Not overly bulky or cumbersome but I guess I expected a smaller lower quality product. They fit well over my ear, not too tight or too lose. I read the instructions and it was pretty clear and to the point. I charged the headphone with a regular charge that came with them. Then turned them on with the power button on the side. I turned on my phones Bluetooth and within a couple seconds they were connected. My daughter was the first to test them out and she was very happy. The audio was very clear. It drowned out the background and outside noise effortlessly. Initially I only wore them for approx 3 hours with no problem with battery charge. They say they last much longer but I did not wear them that long. I can say they can easily compete with higher named brand headphones on the market. I'm very pleased with these and will buy a few more pairs for my kids to listen to their phones in peace without everyone fighting volume.

Works great with noise cancellation

DrAndy May 14, 2020

I usually travel a lot for work. Hopefully I will continue too soon. Most of my traveling is done via air. Because of this, I usually have a pair of headphones on. In fact I have been using the same pair for the past 4 years. They are starting to fall apart, so it was time to find some new ones. I've always been wanting a pair that can do noise cancelling, to assist with blocking out all the sounds of the plane, and the people on it. They always seemed too expensive to even look at. That's not true for these onn ones though. The affordable price does not mean they skimped on any of the features. The headphones can sync via bluetooth or can be hardwired with the INCLUDED 3.5 mm cable. Syncing took less than a minute, and I knew it was complete when the built in voice told me so. Volume and selection control is done via a touch interface on the ear cup. No buttons, just swiping and pressing on the cup. I was highly impressed with the noise canceling feature. When activated, you only hear a low static sound. Even with me standing directly next to a television, I could barely hear anything coming from it. It was less than a whisper. I knew there was talking, but couldn't make any of it out. Almost like it wasn't even there. On the other end of the spectrum, the ambient sound worked as well. This lets you listen to the music with the headphones on, and still hear what's going on around you. Not a feature that I would probably need to use, but nice to have. There is a little bit of weight to the headphones while wearing them. You can feel that they are there, but they did not squeeze or give me a headache while wearing them.

These Wow'd Me

MSpaeth204 May 27, 2020

Not only are these made well but they are smooth and durable. The pairing process was simple, I paired them with my laptop and my iPad and both worked well with these. I was pleased to see they have a built-in microphone and are comfortable to wear. They fit over my ears completely and the buttons were easy to figure out. There are audible prompts to tell you when you've powered on or off, paired, turned on ambient sounds or blocked ambient noise. The bass was very nice and I very much enjoy the sound quality. I've used it for gaming, listening to music, and talking on my phone. No problems with sounding like I'm in a tin can. With the ambient noise blocked my husband complained I couldn't hear him or wouldn't hear the fire alarm it went off. So I thought that was pretty funny. Thumbs up!

After I finally got the Bluetooth to work...

JoanMN May 17, 2020

they were great. Had to Google how to pair them. I think the directions are pretty skimpy. But I do love the sound. I haven't had much experience with head phones, but the sound is wonderful. they are very compact and the case is really nice, too. The noise canceling seems to work well, too. Overall, I think they are pretty good.

Surprisingly Good

CAD May 14, 2020

I'm painting the interior of the house, so the getting these was perfect timing. When I first tried to link the Bluetooth, nothing happened. They wouldn't turn on, off, nothing. The directions are minimal. I was ready to trash them. They only worked if hardwired. So I plugged them into the charger and came back the next day with a fresh outlook. They fired right up. Hooked up to my computer and cell phone immediately. You need to hold the on off button for several seconds for it to function. Now they sound great. They pick up the Bluetooth all over the house. All the functions work perfect. Volume, pause, skip ahead or back work with a mere slide of your finger across the right side earpiece. For the price, you just can't go wrong with these.

Good but with issues

Sparky May 17, 2020

The ONN headphones comes in a nice zippered carrying case with a 3.5 mm 4 foot long headphone cable and a 21 inch Micro USB charging cable. None of the touch controls will work when you use the 3.5 mm headphone cable. I paired the headphones with an old music player, flip-phone, and an Android phone with no problems. Oddly when I unpaired the headphones they announced pairing instead of saying un-pairing, disconnected, or just making a tone. I placed a few phone calls to voice-mail so that I could listen to the sound quality of the playback. I tried the both the ONN headphones and a pair of SkullCandy UpRoar headphones. The ONN sounded muffled while the SkullCandy sounded much better. When listening to my old music player and Android phone, sound quality was comparable, but the old music player did not respond well to the touch panel on the right side of the ONN headphones. I could adjust the volume, but could not change tracks. When I tapped the headphones to pause it did not respond immediately so I tapped it two more times which sent the player into a loop of play / pause and I had to shut it off. There was no problem using the newer Android phone; all the controls worked. I will say it is kind of hard to judge where you are putting your finger on the ONN right headphone touch panel to work the controls. It takes a little practice to place your finger and move it the right amount to make the different functions work. The SkullCandy has large buttons you can easily feel for volume up/down and power, though it lacks the ability to play/pause or to change tracks. Noise cancellation worked very well as did the ambient sound mode however I had to press the buttons multiple times to get either one to work. Also, I have no idea how long the ONN stays in stand-by before it turns off once you are finished using them. I used them for about three hours on a full charge and then they sat for a day and a half. Went to use them again, they paired with the phone, then the power light started flashing, so I had to charge them up again. Apparently it is better to turn them off manually than let them go into standby or turn off by themselves. The box states 30 hours of playtime, but either playtime is more limited or they need to be turned off manually to preserve battery life. The SkullCandy headphones sat for weeks sometimes before I would use them again without having to recharge them.

Does NOT help with noise reduction as it claims

april August 2, 2020

I could still hear literally EVERYTHING. These do NOT block ANY noise whatsoever. They are heavy on the head and uncomfortable around the ears. I would not recommend buying these.
