THE SPEAKER SHOULD PLAY FOR 10 HOURS BUT I EXPERIENCED SEVEN HOURS. THERE IS NO WAY OF KNOWING HOW MUCH BATTERY LIFE THE UNIT HAS BECAUSE, IT IS VOICE NOTIFICATION PROGRAMED. IT HAS A BUILT-IN RECHARGEABLE BATTERY. ALL THE CONTROLS ARE PLACED ON THE TOP OF THE UNIT, ON/OFF, POWER UP/DOWN, BLUETOOTH. ALL FUNCTION WITH VOICE NOTIFICATION. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE POWERFUL OF THE SPEAKER, IT HAS A BIG BASE SOUND. THE BLUETOOTH WAS SUCCESSFUL IN CONNECTING IMMEDIALLY WITH THE NEWEST VERSION IPAD; IT WOULD NOT INSTALL ON THE OLDER MODEL DEVICES OR ELECTRONICS. IT IS WATERPROOF, WITH A WRIST CARRY CORD MAKING IT PORTABLE AND IT CAN BE HUNG ON HOOKS AND BE OUT OF THE WAY. THE MULTICOLOR LED LIGHTING EFFECTS IS LOCATED AT THE BASE OF THE SPEAKER AND CHANGES COLORS WITH THE RHYTHEM. IT HAS A 3.5 MM AUX JACK ON THE SIDE WITH A RUBBERIZED COVER, WHICH TOOK ME SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO OPEN IT. THERE IS NO INSTRUCTIONS OR DIAGRAM TELLING YOU HOW TO IT.

Absolutely love this speaker. It is really loud and packs a powerful bass with it. You can take it anywhere. The controls are on the top. It has a really cool light feature that looks amazing at night. The speaker connects via Bluetooth and uses a USB charger to charge. I think the battery lasts a really long time. I've used it for days before having to charge it again.

I have a Harmon Kardon & UE boom speaker so I'm picky about speakers since I take them to the beach. This little speaker has an impressive sound & live the colorful lights. Says upto 10 hours so you'll test it at the beach or pool. But super happy & surprised

This compact little speaker is the best. I love the blue color and I love the lights on it. I love how the lights corresponds with the sound. It's easy to pair and operate. The battery lasts for a decent amount of time. I think I would only have to charge it every 3 to 4 days and I use this a lot. I thought about getting a hook for the shower and test it out in there, since it's waterproof. I haven't gotten that far. I like knowing that I can though. The one thing I don't really care for is the woman's volume when you turn it on or when it connects or shuts off. A sound would be ok, just not some loud woman's voice. The sound on this is amazing. I know it can probably get very loud. Great speaker. Would recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little speaker! PROS: Easy to pair (it has a clear voice that tells you exactly what status it's in ... "power on" "pairing", etc. It paired up with my older and newer devices quickly and easily. Big sound - plenty loud and fills the room easily. Great Range - once paired I was able to take this speaker far away from the source device .... all the way into my backyard without loosing the signal. Cool lights - the bottom of the speaker has an led light ring that changes color and fades in/out to the music it's playing. Handy shape - it's a cylinder and only takes up 3" of table space. It also has a handy strap which comfortably wears on your wrist to take along on a hike. CONS: None - I really like this little unit!

This is more than i expected. my care giver set it for me and it was so nice i can hang it on my roller and enjoy music on my walks. i sit on the balcony and this is a nice companion it is so nice i did not know they made speakers like this. it is not big and bulky just the right size. the sound is very clean and you can turn it up loud. beautiful blue color

I was awesomely surprised with the incredibly affordable onn medium rugged Bluetooth portable speaker with multicolored lighting effects and water Proof also, how could you go wrong. when I was offered to review this product for free, I was not expecting much but wow to my surprise this medium size speaker has a power punch of sound, Volume, and the bass, incredibly solidly built, even after dropping a few time. simple and easy to use the connection is strong and consistent, the hours of playtime charge holds up beautifully always, Turns off automatically when I get distracted and forget to turn off. So when comparing the onn Portable speakers with other name brands more expensive medium size waterproof Bluetooth portable speakers I was totally surprised. In a group blind test the onn speaker beat them all out for its sound quality and the bass sound, then To add the light-up feature just made it even more fun. So if you're wondering if you should buy this speaker and you're not sure, I would definitely say buy this speaker at what a bargain, Whether You are playing jazz, classical, R&B rap , country whatever or you want it to handle a heavy bass this is a good choice to buy. In the morning when I wake up my phone connects to the speaker and starts my day.

This Onn portable Bluetooth speaker has a deep rich room-filling sound with high-end features and great attention to detail, all the things you would expect from a much more expensive speaker. Quite frankly the sound of this Onn portable speaker is impressive. I've been an audiophile all my life and I know good sound when I hear it and this impressive little speaker has just that, great sound! The Bluetooth pairing was effortless, talk about impressive! Wow! If the beautiful sound produced by this Onn Groove Speaker wasn't enough, it's also IPX7 Waterproof and you can answer phone calls with it and I'm only mentioning two of its many features! You can take this smart portable speaker to the pool or beach and not worry if it gets a little water splashed on it! The only thing that left me a little disappointed is that it doesn't come with its own ac charging source. The good thing is It does comes with the USB cord that plugs into any USB power source. I guess the manufacturer figures that like me, you have the ac adapter or power source already in your home, as it will plug into any USB power source or you can plug it into any USB on your computer and charge it that way. I feel very fortunate that I received this speaker for free in exchange for my honest review as I am a member of the Spark Reviewer Program.

I bought this for my daughters birthday. Shes 24. She was so pleased, I bought one for myself! Bluetooth connection was easy even for tech challenged me. The sound is amazing for a device slightly larger than a soda can. The handy cord allows me to take it outside while gardening. I hope the neighbors enjoy my afternoon serenade because I crank it up! Lol The lights are fun at night on the patio and if my phone rings it alerts via the Onn so no missed notifications. I got the Gray for my daughter and the Blue for myself. I can honestly say I'm VERY pleased with everything about this portable speaker! The WiFi range allows me to move freely through the house and yard with music everywhere! Im ready for the beach or pool, just waiting on COVID-19 to chill!

This speaker has nice sound, looks cool, and is easy to use. It lasts for quite awhile when charged and lights up to add to the fun (can turn that feature off).
