onn. R113663 6-Device Universal Remote

Of all of the universal remotes I have ever programmed, this was by far the easiest. My television is an LG smart TV, so I was able to follow the Simpleset instructions in front of the book. Just press TV, setup until the TV button blinks twice, and hold down the 3. The TV immediately rebooted and voila a remote to replace the one my son lost ages ago. I haven't tried it on any other devices yet, since I don't really have any other devices set up, but I assume it would be just as easy to program. Functionality-wise, the home button works to open my smart hub so I don't have to go through several menus to get to it. There are app shortcut keys that allow my son to quickly find his Disney+. The shortcuts also are easy to set up. The remote is durable, and feels comfortable in my hand. Well worth the money.

It's nice to be able to put away 3 remote controls and just have one that does the job of all 3 of those remote controls. That is if I could remember which button to push to get each item to work when I need it to. Maybe I will get the hang of it and not get frustrated and throw the remote across the room. haha Seriously the remote works fine in place of whatever remotes you are downsizing from. That's what this should be called, remote downsizing.

Received remote to use with our Samsung TV, soundbar, DVD player and cable box. It controls all the devices the same as the stock remotes do without all the clutter. The menu and settings are also accessible on all of the devices so I am not giving up any functionality. The feature I like the most is the backlit buttons. The remote has a button to turn the backlight on or off so it's not using it during the day when not needed and wasting the batteries away. Would buy again and recommend!

I really like how this programmable and can program to most TVs and DVD players. I really was looking for a remote and I was glad to find this. This was very easy to find and use. I definitely am not complaining. It does the job for what I need it to do.

After spending way too much time trying to figure out which remote controlled the volume, I was very excited to have this remote - holy cow, it's amazing. It took me a bit to program (go online for better instructions) but it's SO VERY NICE to have everything on one remote. The size isn't bad, I'll know if it's stuck in the couch cushions.

So far I've used this with my Samsung, Roku, LG, and Toshiba TVs at home, and they all connect pretty easily. I basically lost the remote for my Samsung TV and needed a universal remote, and then I thought, why not just try it with all my TVs just to make sure they are all compatible so I know in the future if I needed it I could use it too. Programming it was as simple as following the provided instructions, and it was easy to match with the right device. I like that the remote has all the buttons that my original remote has and more, (yes, comparing with the newer Samsung remotes), and it has the features all laid out there and easily accessible. The newer TVs come with less functional remotes because they are mostly Smart TVs, but this remote will also work with older TVs, so that is great.

I feel like universal remotes feel like a thing of the past but this has come in handy. I like that the buttons light up, it helps at night. One thing is this is a rather long remote, no real problem there, but it's clunky. Works great with my soundbar and TV though, would recommend!

It was super easy connecting this Onn remote control to my television! I didn't even need to use a TV code. It has so many features. You can control your TV, stream, connect it to the DVD player, it even has a music button. It also has a backlight button for night time use. I definitely recommend this product.

This remote restricts what kind of devices the TV, STREAM, STD, AUDIO, BLURAY and DVD buttons will work with. We can't set the STREAM button to control a Yamaha sound bar. Only the AUDIO button works. So if you have more than one audio source (e.g. a receiver for a dvd player and a sound bar for the tv) you can't use this remote to control both of them. Haven't been able to get the learning mode to work using the functioning remote for the sound bar.

This remote is large so it won't be easily lost. I am waiting to move before setting it up with the new devices I plan to buy. It claims.to be able to control any device up to 6. I think it is very complicated so I will have to dedicate major time to set this up when my kids are in school and I have an hour to read the directions. Seems l Iike the last remote I will ever need.
