onn Universal 6-Device Remote, Black

I love this remote, it's the TV I bought to go with it that is horrible. lasted 2 mos and it's got big black circles and vertical lines so bad that I can only see the right half of what I'm watching. But the remote is large enough to find and hard to lose.

I purchased 2 of them this time. I already have one in another room. They work very well for my needs. They are nothing fancy, but for the price, they do an excellent job.

Our Saint Bernard ate all of our remotes, I researched and decided on the onn universal remote and it is awesome unfortunately the Duke thinks it's awesome too so this time I purchased 3!😀

I was under the impression, from the description, it would be ready to use. There were multiple codes to cycle through just to get it in sync with turning on the television. At first, I didn't think it was going to even function and it would have to be returned. It received a three because it did finally turn the television on. However, it took many codes, and You Tube to finally achieve it. Too much time, when it is a universal remote.

The remote doesn't work with my Onn device. I don't understand why. They are both Onn devices. I contacted customer service. He tried fir quite some time. He sent my ticket up the chain and they never contacted me.

very hard to understand and comprehend very hard to program would not do what it says it will do very disappointed want my money back would be nice to leave a photo but no you have to have one of those photos in your collection like I'm going to collect photos of a remote control get serious

All of these buttons and even the basic buttons don't work. i was going to tell y'all to make a rechargeable one but what's the point when this one doesn't even work right??!!!!! I'm so heartbroken. i had it delivered so that i could use it immediately. It showed up before i was even awake. I can't believe that back and home buttons don't work. That's the most basic of buttons!!!! Y'all should be ashamed!!! And to think I got insurance on it as well!!!!! I thought that it would work great. Now I have to buy another remote. I destroyed my other tv remote because I thought that this one would be able to replace it. I Can't believe that I have to buy like 5 remotes for 1TV. Please be ashamed and go back to the drawing board. Y'all should have at least 4 different remotes for people to buy and use anyway. Walmart please get it together!!!!!!!!!! I expect so better from y'all. Y'all let me down. I connected the remote to both my Roku device and the Philips Smart TV By The Way...

The remote itself is a very solid remote but it has major problems with the listing. Onn is a Walmart brand and they offer two other remotes. One goes with their streaming boxes and the other is a smaller universal remote. The streaming one is bluetooth and the other universal remote clearly states that it only uses IR Blaster technology and doesn't work with things that require Bluetooth. This remote's page didn't say anything about exclusively being IR Blaster, and it said it worked with streaming boxes so I thought it would be fine. It is not. This remote exclusively uses IR Blaster and codes for controlling devices, so if you are using an older media device that supports that this will likely work for you. I on the other hand am out of luck.

Spent way too much trying to get this thing to work. I could get it to control my Roku and Soundbar, but not the Vizio tv I bought at Walmart in Dec. I tried every code, mutiple times. I tried the search for every code function, no dice. I tried getting it to learn from the Vizio remote. Didn't work. I called 800 number and they gave the same codes and then said it's defective. Great work Walmart!

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE REMOTE. So I bought the "Onn Universal" remote because I just bought Onn streaming boxes. The only device that the remote doesn't pair to or work with is the Onn streaming box. TV %26 soundbar from other makers, no problem. It just won't work with the streaming boxes made by the same company. I even bought the other 3 device remote control option hoping it was just bad luck, but nope it didn't work for Onn streaming boxes either.. Garbage. Don't buy it.
