I purchased this keyboard because the keyboard on my laptop quit working. The Onn wireless keyboard %26 mouse was easy to install and use. It even came with batteries pre-installed making the setup quick and simple. As pictured below, the USB is stored in the mouse and pop the top of the mouse to remove snd insert into a USB port if you aren't using the Bluetooth connection. Once the USB is plugged in, you turn the mouse %26 keyboard on using the switch located on the bottom of each item. It's that's simple to install, and then they are ready to use. I highly recommended this product. When typing the keys on the keyboard are smooth and quiet, and the mouse glides across the screen with ease. The keyboard is extremely light and easy to store in the original box when not using. The value and quality of the keyboard and mouse far exceed its low price. You can't go wrong with this item. Why pay more money when this product is much better than similar items that cost more than double. I'm so impressed with the ease of installation, quality, low price, and how well it works.
The setup process was very easy and didn't require any additional software. All you need to do is insert the batteries (two AAA batteries for the mouse and two for the keyboard) and plug the Nano receiver into the computer's USB port and you are all set. Both units will then be instantly recognized by the system. The Mouse is small and seems to be well suitable for small hands, which I like. The two AAA batteries adds weight to the Mouse and makes it more controllable, in my opinion. The keystrokes doesn't need much pressure and are very accurate and responsive: No delays or stuttering whatsoever. The mouse was also responsive as well The keyboard and mouse can function independently. They both have their own separate power switches and you can use either one or the other or both at the same time. Also, this wireless keyboard and mouse combo have very good operational range. I tested it at 7 feet, but I'm almost certain that they both can exceed that distance. This wireless unit has a full keyboard layout, and you pretty much have all the functions that you would expect from an average corded keyboard, and this includes volume controls, music playback buttons, etc. The following are the only complaints that I have: 1. No backlights for low light usage. 2. The FN key doesn't have a lockable mechanism, thus requiring two hands to operate a given function (i.e. you have to hold down the FN key with one hand and the desired function key with the other hand). 3. No sleep function to save battery life. However, those are not necessarily deal breakers, and I find this keyboard/mouse to be an excellent value for the modest price. The keyboard is very comfortable typing on, and while the mouse do not have any variable DPI settings, it still seems to be calibrated 'just right' as is. The manufacturer states that the batteries can last for up to four months for the mouse and eight months for the keyboard, but I'm not able to verify those claims because I have only been using this keyboard/mouse daily for about a week or so. Nevertheless, this combo appears to be very durable and I easily recommend it.
I like this keyboard and mouse combo. The keyboard has nice keys with a good travel distance - not "clicky" but it has a nice feel. The mouse is small enough to fit comfortably in my hand, but large enough to easily control. Both units connect to the computer using the same USB receiver so it's pretty hassle-free set up. Both the mouse and keyboard connected immediately when I plugged the receiver in and turned both on. Each takes two AAA batteries - we'll see how long they last (I'm not sure if the mouse has a timeout period - it appears that the keyboard does). Didn't get too far away from the computer with the combo but they both worked fine at about 10 feet away.
The ONN Wireless keyboard and mouse is really nice set. I have used it both while online gaming and while performing clerical work. The mouse works really well picks up on every movement. The keyboard feels smooth when typing. I use the 2 arms underneath that fold out and hold it up on an angle for comfort. I've used this keyboard every day since getting it. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those looking for a set for in-home office use. I personally like not having a wired mouse which can limit movement.
This onn wireless keyboard & mouse combo is your standard keyboard. Sturdy, easy to install. Everything is wireless and works great. You can have the keyboard and mouse about 5-10 ft from the pc and it’ll work just fine, you can probably take it even further, but that’s as far as I tested. This is a great keyboard & mouse and I am so thankful to have had the chance to test it for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
With my desktop computer, I really didn't need a wireless keyboard, after all, the computer is right under the desk. However, I really, really needed one for my media system computer. It resides in the cabinet along with the A/V receiver, Roku, Bluray, etc., so it's no where near where you sit to watch TV. A wireless keyboard and mouse, kept on the coffee table, was a perfect solution. This set from Onn worked out great for me. Setup is super easy; it's plug-n-play usb, so all you have to do is plug the tiny little receiver into a free usb port on your computer, and push the "connect" buttons. It's that simple. ( I forget to mention that you need to put batteries ((not included)) in both keyboard and mouse first. ) The keyboard has a nice tactile feel and the optical mouse is sensitive and works perfect. I highly recommend this set if your computer is a distance away from your monitor or desk; I have had no problems with it at all. This would also make a great gift for almost any computer user I think.
I would say for the money this is a pretty good option, this isn’t the fanciest mouse and keyboard but it will get the job done. The mouse tracks well and has a slightly raised padding that has helped it work on practically any surface I’ve used so far. The keyboard feels a little cheap and sounds a cheap when typing and that’s the only reason for not giving this combo a 5 star rating. The most surprising thing is that they came with name brand batteries that should last quite a little bit. If your just looking for a cheap set up then this is the one, if your looking for something really quality then spring for something better. This is great for kids and a home office.
The keyboard is quite good for its price. The only downside is the keys; you won't be able to press them easily. You have to press really hard, especially the space bar.
The mouse is clunky and the battery door on the keyboard doesn't close properly once the batteries are inserted. Otherwise is connects fast and doesn't drop its signal. Going to return it after work since I don't think the battery door will last going back.and forth from home to work
When I Received this Keyboard, the Box was Rattling. Knowing that a Keyboard is a Sensitive Electronic Computer Component, and having ordered Keyboards before, I knew Something was Wrong. Due to My Health, it's taken me until Today Oct. 6th, to Actually Open the Keyboard. I discovered that a Broken %26 Dislodged ESC Key was the Source of the Rattle. I Also Noticed that there was Light Debris on the Keyboard Itself, even tho It had been in Plastic. To Me that would Indicate that Someone had Used the Keyboard and Returned it. I have Recorded and Posted Everything that I found.
