We purchased a Lorex NVR system over a year ago and were never able to work out programming or false triggers. Finally gave up after Lorex 1yr customer service was of no help and replaced it with the (MUCH more affordable) Onwote POE NVR camera system. From the get go, this system was so easy to set up %26 program. Once human detection was set, we have little to no false alarms. Clarity is terrific, day %26 night. What a relief to have a reliable camera system that works!

I was looking for a system for my home. I was not happy about my choices. Then I found this system. It is reasonably priced. Had the features I wanted. It was delivered quickly. The big surprise was the ease of configuration. I started with testing the cameras and wiring. I plugged in a spare keyboard, mouse and monitor. As I plugged in each camera, I found they quickly connected. I down loaded the phone app and had no problem viewing each camera. Since I opened the box upside down, I did not find the manual until I had finished the install. So, all of the configurations where done without looking at the manual. It is that easy. Installation of the cameras outside was very easy. Routing the wires had its challenges. The cameras are mounted directly to my soffits with a 1" hole drilled for the ethernet cable. The wire where routed down thru an outside wall to my basement.

This product arrived as planned with great packaging. The cameras were installed quickly and seen to be working as advertised. i need to learn more about the AI and notifications but we're very satisfied a week after installation.

These cameras work quite well, and the user interface is intuitive. Certainly a better deal than many of the other options when comparing value and functionality. We have four buildings, and I was able to use an IP camera as long as it was connected to the same network, just on different switch. I recommend!

I’ve owned 5 Onwote systems throughout the years. I currently use 3 in different locations. I highly recommend their system as it’s extremely easy to setup. It’s fairly intuitive with the guided initial wizard. Video quality is great. No networking skills needed. Plug-in your internet (Ethernet) cable, download the app, setup your credentials, scan the QR code and watch the cameras populate as you connect them. I recommended Onwote to some friends of mine that have no computer skills and they got them up and running.

Outside of the fact that the nvr software is clunky I don't receive anywhere near 100% of the push notifications that I should on my iPhone 11. This means that I would have to continuously check for alarms. Tech support tries but has done nothing in the continuous emails we have exchanged

r8ght out of the box noticed it was unshielded cat 5e cables! how cheap is that? not even cat 6, or shielded! So, the rest of it must be cheap as well! starting a return now.
