This is a very convenient mechanism to wire a painting for hanging. Just screw in one near the top of each side of a frame and add wire. I was a little surprised at the cost as it seems like a simple piece to construct but I'm likely to buy them again anyway.

Perfect for hanging picture frames. I hate trying to get a mail perfectly centered for the braver on the back of a picture frame. With these D-ring hangers it's easy to string some twine or thin cable across and adjust the picture until it hangs straight.

D ring feels sturdy and the included screw is hefty for its size. Overall I am very pleased. i used a small battery powered drill to drill the screw and d ring into a large plastic (no glass or wood) frame and the screw did not strip and went in after applying a little pressure. Looks great too! I love that the D ring has a gentle curve. more forgiving when hanging frames up when I don't have the measurements super precise.

I use lots of these, as most of my work is small and lightweight. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that I do not like, or use, the plastic things, so it's a chore to remove them all. Otherwise they are nice quality, and the plastic things are a personal preference.
