Ooma Telo VoIP Internet Home Phone Service with 1 Cordless Handset

These phones are very good! It is 7$ a month for me, there was no (free) option but dang its definitely worth it. They stay connected no disconnection issues. I have fiber frontieer internet in a rural area in WV. Got a good local number with my area code through the ooma service. If i were to re order the phone system id only get the ooma box without the phone and use my own phones because the phone doesnt seem to be 100% up to my expectations but they are well made and battery on phone lasts 3 days off of base. If you have reliable internet i swear u wont be disappointed buying this setup 💯% recommend.

I seldom buy any kind of technology item that I don't run into some unforeseen problem and spend hours going through support for help. Ooma was a very pleasant surprise! The directions were simple, set up was easy and trouble free. My phone was set up in under five minutes. I was surprised to find the voice quality was superb, and the phone and all features work perfectly. Best of all, I'm going to save a ton of money from cancelling my other hard-line. As an bonus, the system I bought comes with a wireless handset and charger base. There are also lots of options for blocking unwanted calls. Great job Ooma! I highly recommend this system for anyone who wants an economical hardline to supplement their cell service. To be safe in emergencies you will need some kind of regular cell phone backup as Ooma will not work when your Internet connection is down. Ooma can also be connected to a cell hot spot if need be.

It was a difficult setup because Ooma did not have the Serial number and other data on their server for this particular device, but they fixed that in two days, and it finally activated on their servers. Two weeks after that the handset became defective and would not charge but shows 100% charge, they sent me another new handset for free. The call quality might not be as advertised, if you live in a rural area, but at least you can make and receive calls living in the middle of nowhere. I am satisfied and the cost per month is so inexpensive compared to a land or cell phone.

I like the device but the power adapter is inoperative

Absolutely HORRIBLE.. Unit arrived today and I was unable to activate lt after an hour on the phone with OOMA.. Walmart is refusing to return or replace it so I'm stuck with a 130.00 piece of junk that doesn't work.. All I get from Walmart is SORRY....

Unable to return to Walmart so far. Item doesn't work for my family situation at the nursing facility.
