However, the motion sensing is too sensitive, even at the lowest settings, especially if you have heavy overhead tree coverage and moving leaves or shadows caused by breezes. Masking out select high-motion areas works well for reducing false alerts while keeping normally stationary areas active. Audio sensing is mediocre but good enough to pick up words and conversations. Overall, the quality and function are very satisfactory to quite good, and we are pleased with it.

My only complaint is that the night vision only shows visibility at the bottom of the screen when there's no ambient light. Living in the woods means the top half of all the cameras appears black, although they work fine with a full moon. I've tried swapping monitors for a new TV and adjusting the brightness, but nothing has helped. Other than that, the installation, daytime camera quality, and setup were all great and easy.
