At first when i received this product i enjoyed using it because the screen is great, and when you tun on the ipad be aware of an older software version but that can be fixed by updating your i pad in the settings app button then just go to updates (inside the settings app) and then just click update. Also try to avoid using your nails to touch the screen use your fingertips for the ipad may get scratched up. Overall the ipad is great to work and play with it. Apple is #1 in tablets for a reason. I had an android tablet before this and there is no comparison! You hit the icon, the program opens, and keeps working til you close it! No force closes, no long waits, no reboots, just flawless function. Spend the extra money, you'll be glad you did!

Although we are just becoming familiar with it, it is obvious the IPad is an extraordinary device. The only criticism we have at this point is that we believe there should be a simple printed start-up guide. What may seem intuitive to Apple devotees is not necessarily so to others. Something as simple as using on-off or power symbols on the power switch would be nice. We had to call Apple just to figure that one out. What a waste when the solution would have been so simple. Overall, though, the IPad 4 is impressive.

Bought an ipad4 for myself and liked it and the price so much I bought one each for my son and daughter as an early Christmas gift. Used in-store pick-up and it worked out great--one Christmas Gift I didn't have to wrap and ship. Hey, shouldn't I get some kind of a quantity discount from Walmart for the purchase of three ipads?

I love the Apple products. They are the most user friendly. I have tried the Androids and I always return to Apple. I am looking to give away my Samsung Galaxy II. The ipad is so much better! I tried an HTC 4G Lte phone and hated it! Could not wait to go back to an iphone!

I purchased the iPad for my wife on Mothers day, she has never used one. She is gaining ground on the operational part of it, it is very user friendly. I would not want to be one who tried to it from her, she loves it I thank you for making it possible for us to receive a top of the line product at a price we could afford.

I've never been a big fan of Apple, but for a novice this tablet, the iPad, cannot be beat. I bought it for my wife to replace a faulty tablet of another brand, and the user-friendly design of the iPad had her back up and running in no time. I wish I had bought the iPad in the first place.

This is my first Apple product. After a lot of thought, I switched from my Kindle Fire HD (which is a great tablet) to the IPad. It is super user friendly and I love all the choices of Apps. Good battery life, great speakers. No complaints yet! Highly recommend!

Much has been written about the iPad and I doubt I can add much to the discussion. But I do want to mention a seldom discussed disadvantage to some Apple products and that is the cost of battery replacement. I bough a iPhone 18 months ago and the battery no longer holds a charge - it costs $79 to replace. So since I had just bought this IPad I looked at it - there is no access to a battery compartment as you expect to find. So I looked up the cost of battery replacement for it and found it to be $99. So as you think about the long term costs of owning this wonderful product keep in mind that you have a big unavoidable bill in your future.

Every good thing you have heard about the ipad is correct. There is a reason all the reviews put it at number one. I bought this for use one the shop floor at the company I work for. The only problem, and I mean ONLY problem is the integration with Microsoft office. This changes the true cost of the ipad for me. Add $41 drops and spills, gotta have it $30 for the screen protector $55for the LIFEPROOF case, gotta have $35 for the Bluetooth keyboard $10 for external speakers $99a YEAR for the Microsoft office365 subscription (the only way to edit excel docs in format) $10 for the photon browser to watch flash movies So now the cost of an ipad goes up to $700 At which I point if I had gotten a Microsoft surface i would still be griping about connectivity and wondering if an ipad was the better choice. The connectivity to others with iPhones and iPads has already justified it for me. Plus the prestige factor clinches it for me, because I did get it to function well for work it looks that much cooler, and I don't have to plug in everywhere I go. Buy it, if you are gonna get it for work, think about it for a minute (do you use spreadsheets at work?) then buy it anyway.
