We bought this to use in a Church multipurpose room & its wonderful. Plenty of HDMI inputs and great sound. This model still comes with a remote. A plus for some of older members to have.
I recently busted my 60” tv , and being a valued customer of Vizo, I must say I was extremely pleased with the way they handled my situation by offering a better tv for a way lesser price than what I paid for my 60”. I couldn't believe it!! Besides having a sharp pic, and great features it goes perfectly on my wall in my living room not to big or to small being I have a 1bdrm apt.. I've could've made a better choice and believe you won't either.. wow!! What a beautiful picture it has and not to mention I hooked up my Vizo surround sound to it so it's like I have a mini theater in my aptment. I absolutely love my tv !!! Thanks Vizo for keeping an happy customer!!!
The only two negative things about this TV: It has its legs on the edges, not the center, so we needed a new TV stand; and the sound is not quite as good as my last Vizio TV. The other things are all positive. The picture is fantastic. Having Netflix and Amazon Prime built in is amazing. Hooking everything up was very easy and quick. This is my third Vizio TV, by far the biggest, and the first smart TV I've had.
The TV has a good picture and "standard sound" which sounds better through earphones. We added on a sound bar but it was too much for us Senior Citizens. This TV does not overwhelm you with a deep picture and we found out that the clear motion setting does not do much for the faster sports. Not much stereo effect from the speakers. But we would state that it is a good standard TV. The repairman has been out once to repair the "power button" and we were advised to just use the remote as you can not get a replacement for the installed power button assembly. Thanks.
This is the second Vizio we've purchased. Enjoy the ease of accessing Smart features & applications. The D-series was easy to set allowing us to begin watching immediately. Did not want the Chromecast features, so very pleased this model available. Four stars provided as not a fan of the black perforated legs design. Much prefer the silver legs on our M-series. Additionally, missed the QWERTY keyboard feature available on our M-series.
Bought this as a replacement TV for one that was less than 4 years old so we weren't happy about that. We were happy to receive a model upgrade at a fairly discounted price and appreciate it but wish we didn't have to put money out for a new TV already.
Vizio apps are lacking. I had to plug my Amazon Fire TV stick in to be able to use Amazon music because Vizio doesn't have the app. I'm very disappointed. Also, Vizio app for Accuweather when used is so small it's worthless. I have to use the Amazon Fire TV stick when I want to use Accuweather. Overall I'm not happy with my purchase. The Vizio "Smart" tv is stupid.
It's a nice looking TV, it's quite thick and the build quality is cheap, but then again you get what you pay for. The TV is very easy to set up, and the picture quality is very nice. The reason I gave it so low rating is because it continuously loses the WiFi signal. and Netflix will randomly stop working. this happens on average 3 times per day. To fix this issue you need to completely shut down the TV and then turn it back on.
I have had nothing but trouble with my new Vizio D55 TV. It has serious electrical issues. The picture will freeze and buzz. I have to constantly turn it off and on again to clear the picture freeze. The TV will suddenly turn off by itself. The customer service department has been very helpful, but this is a troubled TV set. This is the first Vizio that I have ever had trouble with. This is my 3rd Vizio.
To be honest, I found this model (which replaced a previous Vizio model) had a very narrow viewing angle where images were clear and colors popped. Moving only slightly off straight-on, the colors washed out and the images blurred. Sent it back to Vizio and replaced it with an E series of the same size and I am totally satisfied with it. Where the D series failed, the E series stepped up and now I am happy.
