This TV in 83” is a different animal than its smaller sizes. Should have its own model designation like A85L.

This TV has fantastic picture quality. I compared side by side with back lit LEDs and this just blows them away. The picture quality does come with a significant price increase above the back lit TVs however. I have read the TV can be washed out in rooms with lots of incoming sunlight. My room has a lot of light in the evenings during the summer months so I am curious to see how it is affected in the coming months. So far so good.

Purchased this monitor during Black Friday weekend. Always wanted an OLED monitor since seeing them back in the day when i worked at CBS. So far, the colors are true, the blacks are phenomenal and the images are superb. It is everything I expected it to be. It needed no adjustments out of the box, which you cant always say about television monitors. It's a SONY, so i expect it to be among the best out there.

I bought this tv a week before Christmas while it was on sale and I haven't looked back. This is a beautiful tv and with its upscaling it's above the others.

I've had this new 83" for about 2 weeks, and it blew my prior 77" away, and the previous one was great! The blackest blacks, no distortion with fast motion, and essentially theatre-like in a normal living room!

I have had the tv 9 months. It is the 4th Sony that I have purchased over the years. Over the last 20 years every one is still in service. This latest tv is a true work of electronic art.

Really love this TV because it has an incredible picture especially when viewing 4K!! I am very happy with this purchase!

It's a great TV as long as it doesn't break. I had it 2 months and it stopped working and Sony replaced it with a new one.

Had great 3d looking picture quality but had a Defective panel that would display grey vertical lines on some Images. I truly hate how the new tvs open screen. I like turning my tv and having a free tv Chanel playing in the background until I decide what I want to watch.
