Open Hearth Black Cast Iron Fireplace Grate

This grate is the perfect size for our fireplace. It is heavy duty as you would expect and want. We are happy with this purchase.

I found this on Walmart and it was the best price online. It's heavy duty, and will hold logs, kindling and fire starters. My old grate was so used that it was heat warped and held nothing. Such a pain to start a fire when you are using additional Fire starters and it keeps going out. I'm so happy with my purchase. It is almost too big for my fireplace, so measure.

the exact size needed for the fireplace. very well made and handles the load and the heat. using less firewood than old one.

I absolutely love my new fireplace grate! when I cleaned up the fireplace at my cabin this year, I realize that the grate needed to be replaced. I am a widow with health issues, and I wondered how I was even going to be able to get another one. Once again, Walmart.com comes to my rescue! It arrived in three days. It is an excellent quality. I had a friend who stopped over and I asked him if he would take the old one out and get rid of it for me and put the new one in. he commented on what a great product. This was so sturdy and heavy duty. When I told him the price and that I got it at Walmart.com, he didn't believe me. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommended.

We really like the grate. It fits our firebox well and performs exceptionally. Our only down-side is that it was not made in America.

Would have been nice but it was broken
