The case is poorly designed. The sleeves are really tight to where it's difficult to get the discs out without getting fingerprints on them. The side of one of the sleeves tore really easily when I was trying to remove the disc. And as difficult it is to remove the discs from the sleeves, they have no problem sliding half way out if you don't have the case sitting vertically.
Every edition of the 4k sold out in the first week, so my opinion does not matter. Its a good looking 4k disc, and my Sony OLED 77" makes good films look extra amazing. Loads of Extras. A good disc to test out all your DOLBY Atmos Dolby Vision.
I like how the movie came in that cool packaging the movie is amazing but i do dislike how the dvd came since the box it feels cheap like paper I thought it was gonna be better since it costs 40 dollars but other than that it really awesome buy it if u want
So Oppenheimer the movie is just great! I would give that 5 stars. This Icon Edition box set isn't that great. It does look cool. Gives a cool looking presentation. But the thing doesn't work very well. The discs are sort of locked into the case and hard to get out. I have to put fingerprints on the discs when I try to get them out of the packaging. Also the package was damaged when I got it. It had some dents in the package. For the extra price.. I thought the Icon edition would be great. I say just get the regular Blu-ray version of Oppenheimer and skip the Icon edition.
Wasn't quick enough to get the Best Buy steelbook, but I was able to get the Icon Edition of Oppenheimer from Walmart. However, I wouldn't really suggest this edition, because it's poorly designed. Unless you just want to display the inner art, I would suggest just buying the standard packaging.
as an avid 4k collector i was hoping the case was better than it ended up being. its a roll of the dice on the condition the case will be in if you ship it and even in store. i wish a bit more was spent on better material as ive seen flipout cases meant to be displayed just like this one that was made of better material and costs less. it also is concerning to me of how much pressure it takes to slide discs out and theres no way to avoid smudging. they should have made the covers flippable to take the disk out but instead you have to carefully slide the dics up and out in the hopes it doesnt tear the cardboard. really odd choice of packaging
The movie looks and sounds fantastic on 4k. My issue is with the packaging of the discs. The design and embossed cover look great but the discs are tremendously hard to remove from the paper slip design. You cannot remove the discs without smudging the discs with your fingerprints and possibly scratching them. Avoid this edition.
Counterfeit goods. Pre-ordered months ago. Finally received my oppenheimer 4k collector's edition today. Well the 4k disc is completely scratched up and the cheap paper case is ripped. Cheap plastic cellophane wrapper on outside with a strange upc sticker covering up the manufacturer upc label. I'm not happy, since I opened it, I can't return it!!! Unplayable.
They just shipped it in one of those sleeves you ship clothing in. Package got to me beat up. Luckily the discs are in pockets or else they would have been loose and probably broken.
Walmart doesn't seem to know how to operate a website. I ordered this days ago as it was listed as available. Now, it apparently isn't. Update your websites frequently. Stop giving false expectations to your customers
