Optimus 16" Wave Oscillating Stand 3-Speed Fan, Model F-1760, White with Remote

So far so good on this fan (just set it up today). I like the circulation flow and particularly the convenience of the remote control.

Omg' it's the best fan, Set up time less then 10 mins. once I got it all set up, it automatically connected to my tv, my phone! I love that it has so many features. I rate this 10

The first fan I received was missing the remote and smelled of cigarette smoke. So I returned it the same day and they ordered another. I received the new one in just a couple of days and everything was great. I bought this fan for $35.00 and feel I received a great deal. The remote is so handy if I wake up in during the night and need some extra air. I bought this 7/2013 so have have used it for 5 months and have had no issues. Although the first fan was unacceptable the problem was handled courteously and quickly. I love this fan!

I purchased this fan because someone I knew purchased the larger version for their business. I like the idea that, not only does it rotate left and right, but it also raises and lowers at the same time, circulating the air. It works much better than the normal oscillating fans, and covers a wider area!

When I first purchased this fan from www.walmart.com and received the fan, it was defective (clicking along with other problems), some kind of funny smell coming out from the motor and missing the remote too. Called up walmart.com and they send a replacement fan for me within one week, so far the replacement is working fine and I hope it does for a long time. This fan is really nice and I love that wave oscillation, which moves somewhat in a circular motion and its very effective because it really cools the room much better than the side to side oscillation fans, its also much quieter than the other 5 blade fans out there. This is also a great fan to run along with your air conditioner to save on your electric bills, you could also use this by itself and it does great for cooling. The remote for this fan is absolutely nice, the microprocessor works great on the remote. Overall, its a nice fan but Optimus could have made this a bit better. I would recommend this to any one who is looking to have a fan that feels like a nice spring breeze outside and is very effective on cooling for any of your bedrooms!!!

Like the remote control feature. Not as powerful as i would like. Oscillates in a figure eight, wish it just went right and left. Little pricey for what you get in my opinion.

It was just what I wanted.

Remote is not capable of turning on or off the oscillation. Other than that it is light weight but sturdy. Easy design to lift and carry. It's about as quiet as other fans say their product is quiet. Nothing to brag about.

Followed directions and it made a loud and horrible clicking sound each time the fan moved lower in the 8 shape. Returning.

When I first purchased this fan it seemed okay until I turned it on a ran I for a few minutes, an awful smell came from the fan, this happened the first couple of times I used it then when I went to use the oscillator the entire motor head tilted downward stayed there and started to make a clicking sound. This fan is very poorly made and I will be returning it, don't waste your money on this one.
