These are a bit expensive. However, when I tried the generic brush heads, they didn't work properly--they fell off the stem while they were in my mouth. It's better to pay more and get a product that actually works.
I love my new brushes! They seemed expensive at first but after trying a new one I was glad to have paid the price. Tooth brushing is much quicker and more effective.
This may help P&G R&D and QA/QC. I have had no problems with using and removing the original Dual Clean head for cleaning. This is the head that came with the Oral-B Pro-Health Battery Operated Toothbrush. I use this head almost daily between the Pro-Health and the older electronic 3D Excel toothbrushes. I am though having trouble locating this replacement head in retail stores which is why I came to this site.
They fit my rechargeable and are better than the original brushes.
I've used this style replacement head for years, and it works great. It does two jobs at the same time while cleaning your teeth.
Would like it if they would have in store, they have the single round heads but not these, and I have to pay out of my pocket instead of being able to use my EBT card or OTC card as I could if available at stores.
I have used this brush head for 7 years, After searching for a new electric brush I read reviews of this head and believe they are unfair. Is the product pricey i believe it is, however in regards to the quality, I have never had a brush head break, or get "gunked" up. If taken care of properly they will not break. They are also easy to remove. You are supposed to clean a toothbrush when done so i don't see why this would be any different. If used properly there is no hassle and the brush head works as intended. So for anybody looking to replace a brush head, i believe this is a good replacement. The other thing i like is the larger brushing area.
Before you order these, examine closely the moving heads on your electric base. My base is at least 20 years old (Oral-B makes a good product), but these heads are quite different from brush head on my base. Although I can't use these replacements I will see if I can find a base that works -- I hope there were not too many design changes over the lifespan and finding a suitable base will be relatively easy. An unexpected reason to upgrade!
I had used this product for 3 or 4 years and thought I was doing myself a favor, but have found out, I was making things worse for myself. Essentially, this dual head is so big that it can be difficult to get the proper angle on trying to clean the back of the teeth. I was told after numerous cleanings that I was not doing a good enough job on the back of the teeth. I went back to the original spinning device and found it was a lot easier on my gums and cleaned on the back of my teeth much better.
None of these have ever lasted more then a week. The bottom half of the brush comes loose. It glued on with some really cheap glue. I guess its intentional so you have use buy a new one every week. It might last you longer if you don't brush 3 or 5 times a day.
