My teeth did feel cleaner afterwards. Material is the same on most dental picks. The floss was sturdy and the grip was strong on the pick too.

I rated this a 4 because, while it is an effective way to floss teeth, my wife, who use them, found the peppermint taste to be too mild. She likes a bolder taste. I tried them, I'm not big on a strong peppermint taste, and while I could taste the peppermint, I liked them. Apart from the taste, they are an effective way to floss teeth.

These are so much easier than using regular floss, first of all. No pulling on your fingers and wondering how much to pull out. The Arctic Peppermint flavor is nice, but not overpowering. My mouth felt cleaner after use. The only drawback is that about halfway through the actual floss piece started to separate into a couple strands, but I could have just been going too savage on cleaning these teeth!

I have tried a lot of different floss pics in the past, and I didn't think that there would be any difference between any of them. However, this floss is not strong and it's also weirdly wide and so I feel like it doesn't grab as well as my other ones have, and there are times where it would break on me. I have pretty tight spaces between my teeth, so this is really frustrating. I wouldn't buy these again.

While they worked fine for me, I felt like they might be a little on the thin side and they definitely need to have more strong flavor on the peppermint oil. I seriously could barely even taste it. I expected bold peppermint flavor based on the name.
