Oral-B Smart 1500 Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush, Black

There is something special about a toothbrush that does all the work for you. It has a lot of power and gets the job done.

This toothbrush has amazing power! I didn't realize how worn out my 6 year old Oral b toothbrush was until I tried this one. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and the results are unbelievable. My teeth are visibly cleaner and staining has been reduced. I'm looking forward to hearing the comments from my Dental Hygienist in a few months. Honestly, I wish I would have bought this a while ago but, so happy I have it now.

Really love this model. In fact we bought a 2nd one since I like it so much. It has 2 speeds and I love the light that comes on when you are pressing too hard. Nice timer so you spend the right amount of time on each section of our mouth. I prefer the white one but black was all that Walmart had in stock. If it's like my last one, it lasts for a very long time.

I have only had this electric toothbrush for a week. I can say that it is a big step up from the ones that use replaceable batteries. I have yet to charge it and it is still going strong. I like that it has a built in timer for brush duration for whole mouth and quadrant. I only use the daily clean mode at the moment. Bought one for the wife as well.

good price on a great toothbrush. This one has everything I need and nothing I don't. The all black looks great, though I wish the charger was black too, and had a cord you could tuck extra length inside the base. The only fault really is that if your hands get toothpaste and water on them, it is too slippery to hold. There's only texture on part of it. I like the clean look of it, but I might have to add a grip of some sort, even if it's just a black rubber band at the top so it can't slip down

Any Oral B rechargeable toothbrush is remarkable in quality. Only drawback yo this unit I can't see where the spot is to press to turn off this unit. Works great as all Oral b I just am not liking the black unit. Also you get a black unit but the recharging station is white. Which does not look good in my opinion. Am checking about returning but box is alway so destroyed by the time you get it out of that swink-wrap boxing. Checking anyway. Have nothing to lose. I'll get same unit only in white.

So I got this as an upgrade from the 1000 in hopes that it wouldn't be so loud…unfortunately it is still loud but not as bad. I had the 1000 for over 5 years and still works really good, just wanted a newer one. I love my Oral B electric toothbrush 100%, just wish it was a tad quieter but that just means the motor is good! The other thing with this model is getting used to the settings all being grouped together in one button. On the 1000 there was one setting so you hit the button once and it shut off. With the 1500, there are 3 settings so you have to hit the button 3 times to get it to shut off. Not a showstopper but definitely dulls the curb appeal for me but just because I'm used to the one setting…just need to adjust to the change! Otherwise, this is a great brush and is very strong! It comes with a sensor on it as well that tells you if you are pressing down too hard. Well worth the money versus a regular toothbrush!

Toothbrush works well, it's a little annoying that when you click it to shut off it switches to a different mode. Takes a bit to get used to holding the button to shut it off. The battery life is definitely NOT what it claims. Mines lasts few days of twice a day use before needing a recharge.

The on-off button on this model is very, very hard to operate. I spend far too much time just trying to find the button, then actually pushing the button to turn on the controls. The button's color is exactly the same as that of the body of the brush., which happens to be jet black. This was a very poor choice of colors for such a critically important control. The brush finally starts at a much higher speed than the one I wish to choose, and again, it is hard to move the button to the second speed (soft bristles). Logically enough, the control button is hard to manipulate to bring the electric brush head to a stop. I sometimes have had to remove the instrument from my mouth with my wet hands for a few seconds to try to locate the button before stopping the brush. I would never agan buy a Smart 1500 electric toothbrush from Oral-B. Sincerely, Howard W. Kloepper

Awful design! Bad to handle! Worst toothbrush I have had: it rolls over and smears toothpaste. The switch button is almost impossible to find without looking which is bad design. The color black with white charger is like drift store match- the brush is awfully hard. I bought it as I liked an earlier model but this is trash!!!
