Great Value
I had an old Rainbird controller that was sad and the display wasn't readable. I bought this one because it seemed to be a good value and had the 6 stations I wanted. I was surprised that 2 of my "lazy" valves work perfect now. I didn't know the old one had got so weak supplying necessary power to the sprinkler valves. I am quite happy. One of the best improvements was no more water hammering, it controls the valves way better. Less noise in the water line and better pressure, which is something I didn't know these things can do. Highly recommend. It was much harder to program than the old one but it is easy enough to get the job done. The manual is clear and there are many You Tube tutorials.

Good outside timer but power could be a problem
Seems to work fine. Setting the timer was straight forward and intuitive. I did not need the instructions. Seals well. The only thing I did not like was the short power cord. Unless there is an outlet nearby, you'll need to use an extension card which is not a good thing for outside mounts. I cut the plug off and passed it through the wall to my wash room. Then attached a new plug. Recommended.
