We live in a rural area with limited shopping opportunities. We were able to find the dripper on-line with Walmart. It is a quality product which covers a very nice area and adjusts easily. Highly recommended.
I would recommend if you are trying to water plants like flowers. If I were spot watering I would use something like a PC dripper.
Awesome Spray Pattern for my plants
I love these. They are adjustable and work well with all the flower pots on the front porch.
Setting up an above ground irrigation system is one of the best decisions I've ever made! I've set them up at my own home and for my mom in flower gardens and deck planters. Besides the sprinklers that sit up high and spray out several feet, these are my favorite type of irrigation sprinklers. Depending on your water pressure, and how long your half inch hose line is, they will spray from around a 3 ft diameter down to a trickle, depending on how far you've got the top screwed down. My only complaint is that there isn't a good balance between "open wide" and "closed down" stream control. This means if you have high water pressure, when you try to make the 360 degree streams only go a couple of inches diameter, instead of coming out all of the holes it will spray erratically from 2-3 holes and you can never get it to a trickle. This makes it difficult to use these for small flower pots when there is a lot of pressure. Then, when you have low pressure and you try to open them up, right when it gets to the widest 2-4" at full pressure the top unscrews completely off, and when you put it back on it will only come out 1-2". So it definitely could use some work on the interior design, for fine tuning water control in both high and low pressure situations.
it gets the job decently done but is fidgety to get where i want it
