I got this bakers proofing cloth just in time for my holiday baking--it was bigger than I expected and worked great for rising my bread and also using for my cookies. It has a nice thickness ideal for my kitchen needs. I will be using it for many more things now that I have it...pizza, pies, pastries! Very nice quality and fast shipping. I really love this proofing cloth! I have recently started learning how to make my own bread dough and was told I needed to buy something like this. This cloth gives me pleanty of space to work. I also love that I don't have to wash it. Just simply brush off the excesss flour and air dry it. So far all of my breads have turned out great and I love using this.

This proofing cloth is ideal for baking bread and will crease easily to lay out up to 6 loaves at a time to leave to rise. Not meant to be laundered, this cloth is made of a thick, coarse material onto which you can throw flour and your bread won't stick. Careful not to spill liquids or other substances on it because otherwise, you've only to shake off the flour, fold it up, and you're ready for the next batch of home baked bread.

This is a nice proofing cloth. Perfect for baking bread as the dough won't stick. The flour is easy to shake off of the cloth. I really like that there is plenty of room to roll the dough out and around. If looking to purchase one I would definitely purchase this one.

I was skeptical about using a cloth to form baguettes. But my husband ordered one and I used it today. It's absolutely great! First I used it to cover the dough for the first rising, and unlike everything else, it didn't stick. As for the baguettes they shaped beautifully - okay, I need a little more practice :) Genevieve

I ordered this item and was disappointed because when it arrived it smelled like mildew. I contacted the company and they said it came from the packaging it was stored in. I contacted the company Orblue for advice. They suggested I wash it. I aired it for 3 days out on a screened porch and then ran it through the dryer on low for 1 hour. It bus now odor-free. I suggest to whoever is storing these cloths find a better facility for that to prevent this from happening again.
