My wi-fi internal card failed on my Windows 7 machine. After inserting this very small device. I was immediately connected to the internet. It is not a high-speed replacement, but ample bandwidth for emails. Works great!
Very easy to use and connect to my home network. Can't even tell it's hooked up to my desktop. Glad I was able to catch while on sale.
Inserted into slot. Checked available networks and there was the one that my onboard never saw. No muss no fuss. I've been around a long time and this was soooo easy compared to what I have been through.
Compared to an ETHERNET (LAN) connection for on my PC, it is 1/10 the speed. It is fine if you are downloading something and do not want to keep a LAN connection tied to your PC, but BAD if you want to play online games or stream anything. Stick with LAN, if you can, or buy a much more expensive Wi-Fi device. - Overall, I would recommend if you simply need to connect to the internet
No instructions given.
It only ran to 14 mbs
I could never use it. Wasnt compatible with my computer system even though it said it was for it. didnt come with any paperwork at all i had to research everything for trying to connect.
Hmm, they deleted my negative review. It's still worthless, but in fairness, after complete disassembly, though nothing was loose, wiggling plug and working buttons inside got it working. For now. Spend a few dollars more and get a mouse that works out of the box.
No driver was sent with it. Hardware is run by software. My computer didn't recognize as new hardwire. a waste of money and time. piece of junk DOA.
didn't work on Linux
