These frozen diced hash browns are a solid pick for busy mornings. The taste is genuinely fresh, with a clean potato flavor that beats out generic low-budget brands, which often taste watery or bland by comparison. Texture-wise, they crisp up beautifully on the outside while staying tender inside, whether you cook them on the stovetop or toss them in the air fryer. Preparation is quick and fuss-free, no thawing needed. Given the quality and consistency, the value for money is excellent. Overall, a reliable freezer staple that delivers restaurant-style hash browns at home with minimal effort.
These frozen diced hash browns are my favorite! I LOVE the convenience! Following the preparation instructions gives crispy golden brown hash browns! Without having to scrub and cut potatoes which usually have started sprouting. ALSO very importantly there are NO additives!! NO NATURAL FLAVOR CRAP!!!
I use this for a really great cheesy potatoes recipe from a friend who recently passed, so we like to make it in memory of her sometimes. Works perfectly for it. Great texture, perfect results every time.
Im so glad they finally have the plain option available again (vs the ones with onions and peppers) I like cooking these in the air fryer with minced onions, salt and plain pepper. Then throw them on a plate, add a little cheese %26 its a great no fuss breakfast. Or cooking the same way and adding shredded carrots instead for a quick dinner option.
Easter absolutely delicious in the morning with some eggs toads bacon or sausage or ham they cook up real nice don't take very long either delicious I've got to pick a bag up
These hash browns are so much better than the generic ones. This year at Easter, everyone commented on my church potato casserole being different. They really liked them.
I love these hash browns but the price is pretty high for the amount you get. I will wait for it to be on sale. Meanwhile, the Great Value hash browns will have to do.
i like the diced potatoes and the packaging as it's easy to open and pour just what I want. Only thing is finding black spots on some of the potatoes
Delicious with added help to make meals tasty and quick. So convenient. A plus for picky eaters as potatoes are liked, in general.
Did not like the taste tried cooking in air fryer , tried baking in oven and tried pan frying . Baking and air frying they were hard and very dry . Could not eat them had to throw them away. Pan frying had to keep adding cooking oil to get them to cook . Disappointed with quality. Wish Walmart still sold the Idaho crispy diced potatoes. No I will not buy this product again
