My son has Autism he eats very few things but he loves these fries. He has sensory issues and food smell and texture is one of the things he has the most trouble with. These fries cook well. Smell delicious. The box is even colorful which is a plus. The downside is they are getting harder to find at Walmart. This is an issue for me. I need these because he eats very few things. I am starting to think Ore Ida or Walmart is having issues keeping this item stocked. I hope this changes. Product is great. Availability is terrible.
These used to be our favorite bedtime snack. Something changed! Now they are limp, taste undercooked, pale and gross! Thought one time maybe I got a bad batch, but nope, they are consistently bad now! Never crisp anymore, never browned, just always tasting either undercooked or like cardboard if you try to cook them longer!
I like these for a quick easy french fry; and I have eaten these as well as the microwavable tater tots for years. Unfortunately, like everything else, they have significantly increased in price, as well as significantly lessoned in product contained inside. The package is supposedly based on weigh, but it used to be filled covering the entire bottom, now when you open it you’re lucky if there’s a 1/3 inside, I haven’t weighed it but there is absolutely no way whatsoever that they can say that it’s just like it used to be. It’s so disappointing and really not worth it.
honestly I was surprised by how little there was in the box lol the box is way over-sized for the amount inside.. I laughed out loud when I saw it. the fries themselves are delicious, practical, you just have to heat them up because they are already fried.. but... the portion could be much bigger!
they were very few fries in the box and the ones that were in it were small and very very hard my mother doesn't have any teeth so she couldn't eat them
I wanted some french fries but I either had to buy a big bag or this single serving size. It got good reviews so I figured I'd take a chance on it since it was under $2 and a well-known brand. They are terrible! There are so many small pieces and black spots. Not only that, making them in the microwave did not make them crispy. I had to put them in the air fryer. Based on the cost of this item each french fry was about a dime, which wasn't worth it!
My last purchase was not the same as usual. All I got was a few broken pieces. It looks as if I got the last of the bottom of the barrel. I started buying these when they were only $1.08. Then slowly went up to $1.14. After my last purchase they are now $1.68. I will not buy these for this price. Hope they can get their act together and make a decent product again and bring down the price.
You are literally paying $0.14 per little french fry. I bought 3 boxes of these to try and it was an absolute waste. Fix them as per the directions on the box and their texture is completely dried out, taste is worst than bland. We had intentions of making chili cheese fries with them and just ruined more food by adding it to the fries. I urge you to not waste your money on this product.
I thought I would give them a try. R U SERIOUS? U get about a quarters worth of fries. Fries R mushy grease soaked potatoes. Gave me a stomach-ache. NEVER AGAIN. Another BRAND NAME going down the tubes. Ive tried the rest of this BRAND...All mushy %26 grease-soaked.
Something has suddenly changed. These used to be crispy and decent. Now, the fries are limp, greasy, and seemingly under cooked. I've tried two microwave ovens--both of which formerly cooked them perfectly fine--and both give same unacceptable result.
