Absolutely love this vacuum! The cord length is a game changer. Way better than bagless solutions I've tried for commercial cleaning.

I like this vacuum. The assembly directions were easy to follow, and the long extension cord makes it possible to vacuum a good portion of my house without having to plug it into another outlet. It glides along smoothly, and has good suction.

We have utilized the Oreck Commercial XL since 2021, and as of 2026, it continues to perform exceptionally well. I replaced the belt and brush on February 10, 2026, and it is still functioning optimally, effectively capturing both dog and cat hair, as well as catnip. I am very satisfied with its performance. Please note that a Kex set is required for accessing the bottom component.

I have always bought Oreck vaccums because they work the best. I don't like the canister kind. And this long cord is just what I need. I live in a 2br apartment and this makes it all around in one go! I also like the sturdy nature of it being the commercial type. A good strong suction and holds up well. My kind of appliance. I'm very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the years I have had Oreck vacuums and also other brands. With 2 dogs that shed I have fallen for the claims made by manufacturers of how great they work on pet hair. While the vacuums may do a good job, they are so heavy that I have trouble using them. My back pain makes it too painful to vacuum. The Oreck is truly the only vacuum that I can use without pain.

The vacuum did not work on my deep shag area rug. This vacuum had no height adjustment. I had to return it and it could not be returned to a Walmart store, and the third party seller did not offer to pay return shipping, so I ended up paying $60 to ship it back to them. BIG LOSS of money!!!! Not happy!!!!

Purchased this product for a daycare, so using it daily, but nothing extreme. The belt fell off almost daily and needed to be put back on, even after replacing the belt itself it was still the same issue. While it was still under warranty, oreck sent us a replacement, and initially it seemed like that vacuum was better. However after just a few months the same problem of the belt falling off almost daily began again. By the time this was happening, our vacuum was out of warranty and now we're just out the money. I would recommend avoiding this model.
