Oreck Commercial ORB550MC Orbiter Floor Machine

This is all I wanted. A big dumb machine that just did one thing. Scrub... And it does that. I would say even though it says "commercial" it should be re-worded as "mini-commercial." It works like a commercial unit but just smaller. I think its a solid $100 too much but still a great buy. I love the how it works. Just some of the wording on the listing isn't to my liking. This unit could sell even better if someone that knows the actual hardware well enough to write about it. I couldn't even get solid answers from the website of the manufacturer. Meaning that Oreck Commercial ORB550MC Orbiter Floor Machine isn't sold on Oreck's website at all. They have different units for sale that cost more. This specific unit seems like it was made by Oreck, yes but for online sales/big chain-stores only. I could not find this model actually being sold at stores, besides walmart. All other listings seem closer to online stores only. I'd say this is a great buy but I think its $100 too much. So, IDK what is more important to get more sales for this unit or just to offer something with commercial power but sold in miniature and still both $100 too much on the retail and the one on the Oreck site is $100 more than that. So if you know how these things work you probably have a leg up on the passive consumer looking for something with power but doesn't break the bank and is built with metal instead of cheap plastics.

I have been using it commercially in a restaurant that has a lot of worked in grease. It performs extremely well in that setting. I believe I've worn out 5 or 6 brush heads so far. I have been using it on laminate floors and they look new when I am finished. Very satisfied with the product!

I am overly happy with the orbiter floor machine. All the different pads make any job a breeze!!

It's a small orbital machine. I have gotten a larger one, but the Oreck Orbiter is a lot easier to get up multiple flights of stairs. Also great for the little one or two room jobs, or those that a larger orbital machine would just not fit. (Think small apartments with furniture.) Great on stairs as well. Definitely get a second pad driver, cut off the harpoons, and put velcro on so you can use thin cotton pads or microfiber pads without tearing them up.

I love this Polisher! I bought several different brands offered at other stores that worked for a few cleanings, but after they sat unused for a few months they would not start again. This one is commercial grade and gets the job done every time without fault! Don't waste money on the cheaper units, this one will save you time and money for year's to come.

So far so good after one use on the marble floor. I used the cleaning operation and did not expect nor did i get a high shine. That being said I was not supposed get a high polish to as this was not for polishing. I was pleased with this operation and i have bought items to be able to dry clean carpet and also polish the marble. The orbiter worked well and i was impressed with the quality-to this date.

The package came intact and machine looks to be in new condition. Gave only four stars because it doesn't come with even a single brush! I would think for the price that the company could include one single brush

seems well built and does what we need. the only reason it did not get a five rating was we could not buy brushes for it at Zoro, we had to go to another vendor and get them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

this machine is magical!!! I have been searching a machine like this for my white marble floor for a while. After many research, I picked this one. It did trick! My marble floor looks so good! The reason I gave 4 stars is that the machine comes with nothing. If you just buy machine without purchasing accessories., you cant use it. I grateful many reviewers Said that in their reviews. One thing is that different floor needs different pad or brush. I bought green brush. It is fine but doesnt polish the floors. The cheat sheet came with the machine said Marble floor need tan polish pad and white pad. But Walmart doesnt have them both so I bought them from manufacturer. I wish the description of the machine can at least provide this info, and have those pads available to purchase. Machine is heavy. But once you start, very easy to move around. I strongly suggest to have a wet vacuum to suck dirty liquid off the floor after using the marble floor. I use water and baking soda as my solution. It works like a charm.

It's ok but not as good as expected. I does not do the concrete at all. I bought all attachments and none work on concrete. The tile was ok but again had to go over many times and it was just ok. I don't have a dirty house just white tile and it's a little better.
