I recommend you buy two of the collectors for collecting the grindings on each side of the sharpener. It only comes with one surface plate so you either need to make one for the reverse side (if you use both) or wing it without one.

I recently purchased one of these for my lawn care business. I really do like it and would recommend it to other people. The only down side is I wish I didn't have to remove the tray back and forth for right and left handed blades, also it could use a little more power. Other than that I love it. I can get my blades perfect every time and they stay sharper longer because of the perfect edge.

This is a solid grinder - period! The only couple drawbacks I've noticed are as follows: 1) Some of the mounting screw holes in the unit seem to be drilled out of position - as the intended locking screws aren't able to line up correctly. 2) The grind angle can't get as steep as needed to match smaller blades. 3) The grind plate isn't wide enough to allow a smooth and complete draw of the blade.
