Definitely on list for ceremonial food

Ricki November 9, 2025

This item is a staple for an old Lakota recipe that is made for ceremonial meals. It's called Wójá'pi However, it is a modern replacement for what was grown naturally, chokecherries, I believe. It turns out to be similar to a pudding/jam/jelly: thick to eat with fried bread. It always takes me a bit to find it cuz I can't remember if it's in canned fruit aisle or pie filling.

Top quality, worth the price

Kirstin March 17, 2026

Real blueberries, so flavorful. Great taste. Great value, the quality is outstanding. Oregon Fruit Co used to be easier to find in grocery stores. Grateful Walmart carries a few products. Waiting for a hot summer day to try a teaspoon of this in lemonade. Great for pancakes too.

So happy this product is still available! I have a few old recipes that call for canned Blueberries and would be disappointing not to be able to buy them!

Better than wild blueberries

Stardust January 19, 2017

Maine wild blueberries are lauded as 'the best'. They were when I was growing up in Maine and picking them myself around my rural home, but today's canned version is awful = small, hard and virtually tasteless, as I've told the state's biggest cannery of them. These Oregon canned blueberries are wonderful... period.

tasty treat over ice cream or alone---

abearwhocares April 12, 2015

i keep these handy as i love blueberries year round. i scoop them over home made [or store bought!] ice cream, toss into a salad or milk shake and have used them in ''dump cake'' [look it up] recipes for a quickie dessert or in muffins and on pancakes-- so versatile and about as cheap as fresh usually. the light syrup can be used many ways if you don't want it to water down a dessert....beware blueberries will stain cottons easily but will eventually wash out. enjoy!!

These canned blueberries are great for adding to cakes or as a topping. They are better than any other brand.

Incorrect item, but made it work.

Terri January 11, 2025

I actually ordered blackberry pie filling, I was making pastries, so I had to make this work, which I did by boiling it and adding cream of tartar to thicken, it ended up turning out delicious, but not so much the short cut I had intended to take, lol.

Dented and Redated

ACT November 6, 2025

I would recommend this product if Walmart made sure I didn't receive dented cans and items that is outdated. I opened two cans that had obviously expired but were redated.

Received EXPIRED canned foods

Lee November 9, 2025

This is not the product's fault. It is Walmart's fault. I received the six cans I ordered, and every one of them had already expired. This is unacceptable, to sell and deliver expired canned foods!
