Oreo has done it again. I didn't expect to like this so much as they were purchased as a last-minute fill in item. The cake is very soft and the cream is extremely sweet, but somehow the two balance each other. R=They are a little smaller than I expected them to be but low in calories per serving and the perfect size(packaged in pairs individually) to stash in your desk or purse for a quick pick me up. I really like these and will buy again--and again.
Don't eat the whole box, these are that good!!!! Reasons for me saying that is because I've upset my stomach eating the whole box! 🤪😝🤣🤣💯 Seriously though, they're that good!!!!
I was surprised these are actually really good. Moist, soft and full of flavor. Two bits size cookies in one pack. Great for on the go, lunch boxes or even an after school snack.
my brother loves oreo cookies we have been eating them for as long as I can remember, he is 71 years old and he didn't want to try the soft snack cake when you tried them he loves them and that better because he doesn't have any teeth and it better on his mouth.
Very pleasant, simple vanilla "cakester" very much like the New England treat called, "whoopee pie". Several reviewers did not like that the "cake" part was firmer than they wanted it, but it is cake-like and firm enough to hold the (very sweet) filling and not fall apart while eating it. The ONLY problem I had with it was that there are only 10 individual cakesters in the box. [Could be I'm used to several classic Oreos in a container.] Each one is about 2" in diameter and about 1-1/4" thick. I DO like that there are 2 cakesters to a pack, wrapped for convenience for lunch or a snack. If sweets are NOT your thing for a treat, the filling will be too sweet for you. If you like the classic Oreos, you'll probably like these UNLESS you prefer a CRISP cookie (outer part) more than a soft cake.
OREO Golden Cakesters Soft Snack Cakes are tasty and contain no Red Dye 40 like so many other snacks. Same Oreo filling and softer texture of cookie is pleasant. They are bigger than regular Oreos so less calories -- 1 Cakester is enough instead of consuming calories for several Golden Oreo cookies! (135 calories for 1 Cakester vs. 170 calories for 3 Golden Oreos)
These are really really sweet...like other reviews, the center cream is overwhelming, and not in a creamy butter icing way. I understand with products like this that they use artificial flavoring but they went overboard. The actual cakes are pretty good, they're moist and yummy enough on their own. If they made some tweaks with the icing or used a lot less of it, I would buy them again. If you have a sweet tooth they might be perfect for you...but I understand the general consensus.
They just took the cocoa out, the cake is tasteless and there's nothing to contrast the strong sweetness of the frosting. The cake is also stiffer and dryer than the chocolate one, almost kind of stale. Really disappointed personally but I bet there's someone out there that'll love these.
Cake and soft seem to be subjective in this product. I threw them all away. They were neither soft nor did they seem like cake. But I could taste the additives perfectly. So if you want dry, fake tasting cake, this is for for you.
the package was left outside the. building never delivered to me.look at the pictures.i took pictures.never again.cam people read the description of the customer.i give that a zero.
