I use it in my garden %26 it took off like crazy with all the rain we had. Use in salads, pasta, pizza, sauces!!!!
The basil was half dead when I received it. I blame whoever did the shop, as this was a delivered ordered. Need to train some of these shoppers better. Sometimes I wonder if the shopper was buying for themself, would they have chosen the half-dead one?
The plants were alive but needed water and some dead leaves removed. They were in a tiny pot and had smaller leaves than what was pictured on the site. However, if it has some stem, basil will root from a healthy leaf or the top bunch of leaves. Put them in a small glass of water and set them in a window with some sun. In a week or two, they'll have roots. Let the roots grow to about an inch, and plant them in a pot to grow more. With that said, if you only need a little bit of basil and have no interest in growing more, it will work just fine.
I had to have this refunded in my delivery order. Ridiculous. I won't buy this again unless I can see the plant myself. I had this item delivered, and I still had to go back out to the store and get basil afterwards. It's not about the fact that I had to go out to the store, but one would think that what you order is going to match what you're seeing online. Plant was anemic with brown leaves and barely any usable ones.
The one we got from whoever picked our groceries was completely dead. Shriveled up very very very dead. We were surprised that anyone would even select that and add it to the groceries.
This basil plant has seen better days. it was bone dry and partially collapsed. I've watered it and maybe I can save it. please tell produce associates that they need water 💦
I am totally shocked at the condition of this basil plant! it is obviously dead and inedible. Walmart did process a refund, but who in the heck is fulfilling these online orders??? not okay!
Almost comical that someone picked out this very dead basil plant for my grocery pickup—maybe my experience is unique but it was not a usable product I was given.
Plant was not healthy… it had black leaves and mold growing in soil!!! I understand everything isn't perfect, but your employee did not choose well!!! If it were just one item, I could overlook it!!!! BUT this person was a VERY POOR shopper!!!! Numerous items were very low quality!!! I will cancel my order if he is delivering to me!!!
The rest of my order and service were great, but the basil plant I received is basically dead, I doubt I can save it
