black beans are a regular part of my diet so this bulk buy was a really great deal.

I ordered some of these for our community food bank so not able to sample. I can say that these are a clean product, there isnt any bean breakage I can see which means theyre fresh, the package theyre in is strong and ziplocks closed. Overall this company offers a quality product. Its worth the money.

I made a wonderful black bean soup from these without meat and the natural smoky flavor of the beans added to the flavor. The order arrived quickly and a very clean product was received.

Great beans! These (in the 10 lb option) are the cheapest I could find that were organic. We enjoyed them cooked in my Instant Pot! They are clean and I am very happy with the quality.

Found what appears to be a mix of beans of different age in the 1 lb. package, and appalled to find the product is from Ethiopia, although packaged in the US. We threw them out.

:( I would compare these to cooking rocks and i will be returning them for a refund. i literally cooked them for hours and hours and i previously sprouted them for a few days. There is no reason for them not to soften unless they are not fresh? I will not be ever ordering turtle black beans sadly.

Dislike. They had to be old. Very disappointed for a organic specialty bean.
