It is fun to have these for crudites and roasted mixed vegetables. Same as orange carrots but a change of pace. One funny thing was it turned my couscous topping kind of purplish. Didn't change the taste but was funny. Usually an Algerian couscous topping is red in color.
Cal-Organic Farms Rainbow Baby Carrots were fresh, colorful and unbelievably tasty. These different colors have flavors that are unalike! Cooked or raw I love to have them for a snack or in a meal. Low calories, pretty and make a healthy dish even more enjoyable. Looks like you went to a lot of trouble to prepare but they are cut and peeled. I always wash again but the bag says ready to eat. Good to know for on the go! They do freeze well but rarely have any left unless it is in a cooked dish. This is an inexpensive way to make a meal appear special and so easy to use! One of my best finds! Pick your favorite flavor! Bon Appetit!
I bought the carrots to add to my son‘s lunch. When I opened the bag the carrots looked old and dry and most of them were split open. The package was included in my delivery order so I didn't see the condition of the carrots before I purchased them. My son didn't care for the flavor of the few carrots that he did eat.
When I opened the bag they smelled, and not a good smell. They were slimy. Did not use them. I think that sometimes when I order my food to be delivered..the produce picked is less than fresh, like not fresh at all. I throw it away more than I should.. and I hate that.
How this shopper thought these expired carrots looked fresh and edible is ridiculous. The yellow carrots are green and the purple carrots are brown! They expired 4 days ago too.
Absolutely awful can’t eat these for dinner tonight the picker must not care at all about fresh groceries bc multiple fresh food items were nasty and not eatable.
these carrots added to the online order I made were past the date -- gross and decaying. should never have been added at the store. someone should be looking out for that!
These carrots were frozen before by the store and they thawed them when they put them out for customers and they are soggy and nasty. Fresh carrots are NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FROZEN AND THAWED.
The carrots I received from the Hartselle, Alabama store look nothing like the picture. They were not baby cut or multi-colored. They were big chunks of orange carrots, and many of them were withered and dried up. I would give zero stars if that was an option. What a waste of money.
i ordered these fir home delivery. i received expired product that was slimy and obviously unfit fir human consumption through the packaging, but Walmart used it anyway. i guess home delivery is their landfill.
