I'm one of those foodies who thinks that one can never have/use too much Garlic. Even if Garlic were not so powerfully good for health and wellness, which we all know that it is, of course, and which are positive attributes that I, personally, want to include in my diet on a regular basis, Garlic is so powerfully good in the flavor department that I want to include a lot of it in practically everything I prepare. I remember a friend of mine saying, around 20 years ago as we went to lunch, that it was a pretty good indication that it was a good Italian Restaurant you were about to enter if you could smell the Garlic from their parking lot. That always stuck with me; I agree. . . . Well, that and definitely a powerful aroma of Garlic has to totally accost your olfactory senses as you enter. Gotta love it. I use so much Garlic in all the different forms available for culinary purposes, from fresh to minced to this Granulated form, that I really like being able to buy it in this one pound bag from Starwest Botanicals. . . . And at Swanson Health Products' low price. Personally, I prefer this Granulated form to the powdered Garlic form. The Granules are very tiny, actually much like powder, and they fit through the holes in any shaker top that I am using; however, they are much better to use. I find that Garlic Powder is too "poofy," as in "poof in a cloud of dust" when I'm shaking a large amount into/onto whatever I'm preparing. Starwest Botanicals Organic Granulated Garlic has a delicious, true Garlic flavor, is easy to use, is priced right coming from Swanson, and the one pound size lasts me a little while. I need MAXIMUS GARLICUS. I cannot be running out of Garlic! - - - - Works for me.

This is the only source I could find for this product. Garlic Granules are much easier to use than powder or those with salt added. I bought two on my first order and will feorder when I need more.

Decent garlic, although pricey.

These garlic granules are fairly mild compared to others I've tried. Depending on your preferences, these may be exactly what you're looking for. I normally like stronger flavored garlic but these will do fine. I'm storing these in a glass canning jar instead of the packet to keep them airtight and fresher. I will keep searching for a more pungent and stronger flavored garlic. I think these come from "elephant garlic", a milder variety than usual.
