Organic Hurricane Espresso Decaf Whole Bean, 2 lb Bag

I have been ordering Hurricane Espresso Decaf for a few years now. It is by far the best coffee ever. For medical reasons, I am not allowed to drink regular caffeinated coffee. I have tried many decaf coffees from stores, websites, etc., and I always get the jitters. I decided to try Hurricane Espresso Decaf and never once got the jitters, but instead, got great coffee consistently! As long as they are making this coffee, I will be ordering.

I have tried only one of the three varieties I bought. This coffee is bold without being harsh. At this time of year I drink a lot of iced coffee and this coffee does not lose its flavor when poured over ice. Can't wait to try the other varieties and will definitely buy again.

Flavorful rich-bodied coffee has dark roast, herbal notes, nutty toasty hint of dark chocolate with natural sweetness -- delicious black and needs no sweetening. Lovely when you want to avoid caffeine, very similar profile to SF Bay Organic Rainforest blend so makes a great half-caf with those beans too.

I had to give up caffeine for health reasons but I really love coffee so I tried decaf. OMG! They all tasted horrid! Even (or especially) Starbucks. So, I started trying different brands. I was disappointed over and over until I tried YOURS. I cannot say how happy I was to find a decaf bean that was GOOD. I go through a lot of beans because when I find someone who drinks decaf, I give them a small jar of beans with your brand name and how to order it! Thank you for such a delightful cup of coffee!

I have been a big fan of your coffee for YEARS but after switching to decaf (for anxiety), I assumed I could no longer get it and just jealously watched my wife still enjoy it, stealing sips on occasion and thinking, "wow am I left out in this decaf world." I was just seeing what the grocery store offered. Little did I know I could find your bounty of decaf whole beans on your website. You put all the care and attention into your decaf that you do into your regular caff and I am so grateful that my morning joe has regained its big taste and flavor.

I had to switch to your decaf, and was apprehensive if it was going to be as good as your regular Hurricane Espresso, which I've been drinking for at least 10 years.. I recently suffered a brain hemorrhage and had to switch everything to decaf,, I was apprehensive ordering it. The thought of not having your regular Hurricane Espresso coffee every morning really depressed me! I just received my order of the Decaf version of the Hurricane Espresso. OUSTANDING! Ordered because I can't get to the store to buy my regular brand, not expecting much. Wow - this hurricane espresso decaf exceeded my expectations and I will reorder gladly.

I tried many decaf espressos from many vendors, and SFBay is the best I have found. If you love dark rich coffee, but do not want the caffeine rich, this is it. Bpth Hurricane and regular.

taste is very good, aroma fantastic. Seems a little weak though, not quite as strong as I would have thought, Using fresh grind daily with a drip system, but still would have thought would be stronger. Have used the French Roast and was stronger, but I like the espresso taste and aroma better

I typically purchase coffee that is roasted and shipped directly to me the same day. I was disappointed that I could not tell when this coffee was roasted. Freshly roasted coffee is predictable depending on the fineness of the grind and the amount of tamping pressure as far as how it is processed in my espresso machine, amount of extraction pressure and volume in a set amount of time. This coffee is not predictable at all, meaning it probably has been sitting on the shelf after roasting for a while. Roasting issues aside, this coffee has good flavor and is a good value, and I would purchase again, but will probably purchase my usual standby from another company.
